Are there any add-ons out there for AIM? Like an x-fire plug-in?

There are, but regretably you would have to do a google search 'cause there really isn't a repository site for those types of progs (some sites have like 3-4 add-ons that I've found). As far as an x-fire add-on, I did not find one.

I don't know of a plugin for AIM, but there are programs out there that allow you to do multiple IM clients.
The only one I know that supports xfire is Trillian. It supports AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, IRC, Jabber, and Rendezvous as well. The xfire plugin can be found in the Cerulean Studios (the people who make Trillian) forums, and it doesn't support file transfer yet :(
