I just did some research about MIDI:
Midi isn't music at all, it's more a bunch of orders for a digital instrument, like "note-on", "velocity" ,"note-off" and so on.
So comparing MP3 and MIDI is like comparing a Gungan with a Rotary Blaster Cannon.

U should just use whatever LA and Pandemic use in the game. I mean the format (ie: .mp3 .mpeg). Use the same format i meam.

I think this one flew over most of your heads, but luckily Vyse knew where I was going with it. That is that all of the Zelda games up to and including Majora's Mask (which sucked BTW compared to the others) used midi synthisized music. Fans of the game have recreated that music using their midi synthisizers. From there they usually release it in midi or mp3 format. Those formats can be converted to wav which SWBF2 uses.

Off - topic: I didn't think Majora's Mask sucked, exactly. It was the shortest, but u got to be a Goron, Zora, and a Deku! !:D And the whole timetable thing, where u had to go back in time to avoid destruction of the planet was a great concept.
On - topic: Just a friendly suggestion, Vyse; you could create some rudimentary puzzles in the true Zelda fasion in order to be able to acess the "boss" you were talking about in the dungeon. And I agree. Zelda music would rock - especially the main theme.

I'm a little confused on how you know that all Zelda games used Midi format up to MM? Of course the NES SNES and Game Boy game's would use Midi because that's all they could handle, but did Ocarina Of Time and MM really use Midi? I mean Midi is really plain notes and OoT and MM had really nice quality music. Also when MM came out I got a package deal that included a Special Edition CD with tunes from MM. The tunes were all in .wav format and since it was a Special Edition CD released with the game on launch day it wasn't fan work. I had always assumed that the tracks on fan websites had been ripped from the game not re-made

wow
I wonder can midi be converted to wav easily and when would the makers of the CD bother converting it to wav just for the CD? Or was it directly from the game... doesn't really matter, I love all the music anyway!
It's a shame you didn't like MM,

any game that has a full 3 day clock with tons of scheduled time events is awesome but to each his own, everyone can have a different opinion.
And just so everyone knows do have Zelda music in it lol

Off-Topic: Wasnt there 3 versions? One for N64, one for Gamecube (I have), and one called Ocarina of Time: Master Quest for Gamecube (I have [came with GC version]) Do u think the versions could have had different music formats?

Yep! The original N64 version the Bonus disc offer you got when you pre-odered The Wind Waker which contained OoT and OoT Master Question and then the Legend Of Zelda Collector's Edition Disc contains OoT along with other Zelda games. And no they wouldn't of changed music formats they are all just ports with re maped controler layouts.

Majora's Mask (which sucked BTW compared to the others)
Thank you! I thought I was the only one who didn't like Majora's Mask. It totally turned Zelda away from the original theme and it went all "Japanese" and stuff.

Yes, OoT and MM used midi's. But you have to keep in mind that midi's have come a long way since the NES;) BTW, I have two orchestral renditions of Zelda as well as a great medley by Apocalyptica (basically a group of chello players that play anything from Metallica to Final Fantasy and Zelda music) that you can see if it's what you'd want in in the game.

Rock on! Give me real music over synthesized crap any day. To be fair, I've heard some pretty scary facsimiles, but you still can't beat the sound of a real musician's soul.

Sending it to file front right now, so however long it takes for them to put the file up, you'll have to wait to play it
Is there any way I can upload it to there site?

Well, that's better than swbffiles, you have to send them a e-mail. Looks like i'll use file front.
