Hi all,
I am a bit new to this modding thing and I experienced this problem which I don't know how to solve. Because when I add HUBs for the AI planning it always goes to the ground, not to the object im clicking at. So now my question is: How to change the height of the HUBs?
Thx in advance!!

Isn't it just like lifting and lowering of objects?? I've never done anything with hub's so i'm not sure....

Ya, thought of that 2. And i think by now i tried all possible keys on my keyboard and mouse even i tried the buttons of my gamepad

. But again: no succes
EDIT: I think there is a way, cause there is a button in the Planning section of ZE that says " "Snap" all to terrain " maybe it has something to do with that. Note that im not that stupid that i pushed that button for getting the Hubs into the air.

if i am not mistaken, planning can not be raised and lowered. the AI follows it at any level. Kinda sucks really

Well, i know a way, but that way is a bit much work to do. u first raise the terrain, then place the hubs and then lower the terrain. Problems with that r:
1) The shape of the terrain as it was has changed (no doubt about that)
2) It is damm much work to do
3) THERE MUST BE AN EASIER WAY!!

I think i just figured it out, i looked in ZE and at planning u see a button on the left named "Edit Weight". Now maybe it's so heavy that it goes under the ground, and maybe if u lower this ammount u will get it up

. I was just trying to think logical, it's worth a try.

Weights: These are only affecting the AI planning routes and they are covered somewhere in the Documentations folder of the modtools. They will not affect the height of the hubs. I suggest not to experiment too much with them until you understand how they work.
Changing the altitude of your Hub:
First, place your hub. Then you raise the terrain and the hub will follow upwards. *EDIT* - I just saw that you already knew about this, however I know of no other way, alas.
Another altitude issue are the spawnpaths, and they are much simpler:
Changing altitude of a SpawnPath Node:
Hold "shift" when moving it with your mouse.

There really is no point to change the heights of the AI planning hubs. Planning paths/hubs have an unlimited heigth and cannot overlap. Changing the height in ZeroEdit won't change anything ingame.
(according to the documentation)
