hello gametoast. some time over the summer my battle front two map was having a problem. whenever i clicked on the icon above the clones head in the unit selection menu, and i selected the droid i wanted it switched back to the republic team and also the command post didn't switch color. the people who responded to my post to fix the problem they said that i couldn't do anything about it. It was an unfixable glitch. I have two questions

1. what file dose glitch come?
i do have my game in (i think its called) uber mode. also i have lots of reinforcements and clones on the battlefield. if setting my map in uber mode was the problem how do i set it in xl mode (assuming it will fix the problem) because some maps that come with bf2 have an xl mode and you can sill switch teams

2. If there is no possible way to fix this team switch glitch, i want to get rid of the symbol you click to switch teams (or i can disable it so it doesn't do any thing when you click it) how can this be done.

From my experience (I've had a few maps do this before), the glitch comes from when you set your map in uber mode in the lua, and then have both teams have over 64 players on the map at one time. If you have that set to a number over 64, then the game will always put you on Team 1, I have no idea why. To fix this, just set the number to less than or equal to 64 and it should work. If it doesn't, then I don't know what to do.

This glitch is commonly seen. I'm not sure if it is connected to having a certain number of units on the field, but you can fix it by spawning and then respawning. Then you'll be able to switch teams.

I tried spawning and re-spawning, also my map just wont work with under 65 units. So i just want to know how to get rid of the symbol you click to switch teams (or i can disable it so it doesn't do any thing when you click it) how can this be done?
