The yellow isnt that bad in-game, but i'll darken the rep vehicles a bit.

sharp has a arc gun, im also trying to get a under-hand chaingun for him. the commander hasnt changed but ill try to find some type of weapon for him.

So this is your first map eh, well there are certain things everyone should strive for in their first map. And you've got one of them "Not Geonosis" but you're falling short in certain areas. My Diagnosis(just what I'd like to see)

Different sky, the standard yavin sky doesn't fit at all, pick a different one.
Different textures, it looked like the ground in the pics was all one texture. Change it up a little, it adds realism.
Diffrerent planet, Hoth to me is a GCW planet. Look on Wookipedia for different one(there aren't many but some have never been mapped before)
Different size, make sure this map isn't too big, so many maps missed this area and their creators wnet all out. Concord Dawn is really big, Raxus Prime(YanKFan)is way too big, bigger does not mean "EPIC" mainly boring.
Different thrill, this map looks like it needs more help in this area than the others. Make sure the AI is smart, hard but not to hard, does one vehicle dominate the map, is the balance tipped in one sides favor. These come first and formost in any map, secondly add something to set this map apart. The underground turret controls are a great idea think of some more.

You can map this beginners map awesome, follow the advice of experienced map makers and use your own creativity. Kepp it up!

Those are nice suggestions but let's not flood this thread with our picks, alright? Commander will choose the name he finds appropriate to the map.

How about Sibera? Based off of real-world Siberia.

This map looks really cool. I love the CIS re-skin. Can't wait for this to come out. I will be sure to read everything on this thread so I am up to date and then post some things I find interesting.

If the hoth goes better i will keep hoth.
If the unknown planit goes better i will sorta redesign what i have. Add snowy trees, grass patches, and more.

I admit, I thought the original idea was pretty standard (not that this a bad thing, everyone has to start somewhere), but this update caught my attention.

That's a nice concept you have there, Cookie. I really like it, especially the colors (vivid green trees, white snow, dark rocks).

My only complaint is the name, it can't be an 'unknown planet' if it already has a name, that doesn't make much sense.
