Non-famous jedi? Are you adding another jedi other than Anakin and Obi-Wan? I think that might be a bad idea if your going to accurate.....
Also, maybe you should make the ARC fighters bombers instead of the V-Wings and make the V-Wings the standard fighter, it just makes more sense, since ARC fighters are often portrayed more as bombers than standard fighters and vice versa for V-Wings....
Another idea, maybe you should make it so that only the jedis can enter they're specifically colored ship, kinda like in "The Dark Times" where only the heroes can get into their ship

I portray V-wings as starfighters too but i dont think the republic used bombers on the battle over coruscant

Yes, you might be right, however I'm taking creative liberty here because there were other Jedi in the battle, however they were not shown in the space battle. Therefore, I'm using generic Jedi. (If many people don't like it, I can remove them)

The ARC-170 is the (most obvious) predecessor to the T-65 X-Wing, that featured limited numbers of proton torpedoes and other heavy missile/ordnance-based weaponry (aka bombs). As described by Wookiepedia, the ARC-170 only has 6 proton torpedoes.

I intend to mod the ARC-170's weapons to keep up to Wookiepedia's description of the lasers. Also, the V-Wing will be modded so it's not a bomber and more of a standard fighter, as opposed to the ARC-170s. To sum it all up, the ARC-170s are special fighters, there aren't any particular bombers depicted in
Episode III (DON'T count
The Clone Wars with their "sleek Y-Wing"). V-Wings will be the standard fighter.

I've never played The Dark Times (I hear it's good) but it seems it's a good idea to have certain people enter certain fighters. However I don't know how to do it, and besides, I can take any ship I want!

Maybe take away Dooku's lightning also? He just stands there, and uses it the whole battle. Take's out some of the fun quality

Anyway: Apparently for dark times 2, AI can fly into and land in hangers, though Mav won't release the code, perhaps with some work the rest of the community could unlock it. The reason I bring this up is because I most people who will be downloading your map will be playing singleplayer only, and it'd be really fun (IMO) to be able to fly as Kenobi with Skywalker on your 6, or vice-versa, even landing in and assaulting Grievous' ship.
EDIT: And yes, I agree heartily with fasty, take away dooku's lightning, and all heros' saber throw. (It rarely happened in the movies, in the game it's spammed by the ai so badly it hurts a lot)
EDIT2: Finally (I hope) I think you should at least re-skin any stock (non-famous) Jedi you might use, it would go a long way (IMO) to making the fact that you're using stock jedi less noticeable

For the nondescript jedi to get in vehicles go into their ODF and remove the line
NoEnterVehicles = 1

What doesn't look professional?
And, no, I don't know a release date yet, if pathing goes easy then it could be in just a couple weeks, if not then it could take some time.

Yes, flying in tandem with your partner would be a LOT more canonical. Unfortunately I, and I assume by "the rest of the community
could unlock it" you mean most people, don't know how to do that advanced kind of modding. I would like that advanced stuff in there, but unfortunately if Mav is unwilling at this time to release his stuff, I don't believe he will, until, as you say, the rest of the community could catch up.
I guess that means it's our loss

If I get the time to do that, yes. In the meanwhile, it's sufficient and doesn't need to be retextured until the finishing touches stage of production. I will try to add
Force powers soon, though.
I found a bunch of pics I forgot to add to my last post. Once I'm done converting them to JPG, I'll release them.

I could probably try and reskin something for the stock Jedi if you'd like, I can't promise anything real professional but In general I enjoy skinning and might be willing to give it a shot
I understand about the complicated bit, I don't really know where you're at with LUA or any of that (can't help on that much myself) but there are other potential options besides something so extreme (E.G. animated turrets, etc.) but yeah, I understand the potential problems behind that, frankly I'm not even sure how to do it all myself.
Finally I just thought of this, when you enter the invisible hand, what about using getunitclass to determine what unit you are, and spawning a prop starship of either anakin or obi-wan (landed), and spawning an ambush team of whichever the player is not, heck you could even tack r2 d2 onto both, I know there's a community made controllable unit. Like I said, I don't know where you are with LUA, and it's just a suggestion, but it looks to me like this mod is drawing enough interest that someone who knows how could write up the code if you were unable to do so.
Just throwing my ideas out there, let me know if you want me to give a try on the skins. (If so I'll PM you with the results)

Why should it all be only the 501st? Hey! IDEA!!! Maybe you could make different legions spawn in different hangars (like a native faction or something). I know the felucia map pulled it off, maybe you could ask him how he did it...

According to Wookiepedia (
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Belbullab-22_starfighter), the CIS bomber canonically has three rapid-fire laser cannons. I will replace the existing "lasers" or whatchamacallits, and I suppose I could do something about the bombs, perhaps replacing them with limited numbers of missiles.

That's a good idea, perhaps instead of different legions only different classes can spawn in at certain CPs. I'll consider asking the guy who made the Felucia map to see how he did it (unfortunately, at the time of this post, FileFront is down, no file searching available).
UPDATE: As of this time, I'm fixing problems with Obi-Wan's starfighter. In the meanwhile, I'm going to retexture some stuff and add/remove/edit weapons/
Force for infantry. And, sorry, I still haven't gotten screenshots yet. They'll probably be in the next post.

Just pointing out that your design conflicts with the first thing on your "details" list. Far too many of your capitals, IMO, are facing along the same axis, and they're packed too tight together.

Actually that post and pic is old, the entire field has been reorganized. (less jam-packed)
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. That reminds me, I've got to post some pics and give updates!
UPDATE:
-Obi-Wan's starfighter crashing . . . again
-Clone troopers retextured white, by me
-Weapons on starfighters currently being revised (V-Wing spray gun has been replaced with TIE fighter lasers, etc)
-Map less buggy due to script fixes

-Pathing continuing
-Map being reorganized for canonicity (is that a word?)
-Vehicles being added, there's a floaty-tank at a CP (Beta testers will know soon)
-Interiors of Acclamator pretty complete and good enough for final release, Venator @50%, Invisible Hand @5%
-something else, I'm forgetting
-
IMPORTANT: BETA TESTERS, KEEP AN EYE OUT! I am approaching the beta stage. Once certain major stuff has been completed, a beta will be released via FileFront (if the site gets working again).
