Ah, ok, I had actually tried after I posted that, and it didn't work, so I'll try to merge as much as possible. I think I'm actually going to completely redo my lot, since it wasn't that good, and now MeshEx
seems to be working

Like ZE animated objects, or pre-animated, like doors?

Pretty sure FragMe! already has some XSI-animated objects in his, and if you want anything like an
elevator (video example), you'll need to animate in ZE. The animations you create can be copied-and-pasted into one main .anm file when Rep gets your stuff, just make sure to send that to him too.
But like everything, be judicious. There is a limit to the number of animation keyframes that can exist in any given map, so don't do anything besides very simple animations.

An elevator and a door was all I wanted, so thanks.

Just a note on that, doors and animated props can be done via XSI. Elevators or anything that needs a collision to allow the player to interact with properly (ie the floor of the elevator) needs to be done in ZE. Collisions don't seem to work correctly for players if you try to animate the elevator in XSI even using collision primitives. Elevator goes up person stays

Yes, you're allowed to have your own personal vehicle.

I have a little question: Do you mind if I extend my lot a little more towards the water? I want to make a maze that the end has a little place where I'm gonna keep my vehicle, if I can get it to work.

Main world folder:
Then, download the main world folder
http://files.filefront.com/data+DMIzip/ ... einfo.html
What to do after that:
- Make a new world with the modtools (run from start menu), called DMI, with it's only mode being Hero Assault.
- Paste in the World and Common folder from the file you downloaded.
- ]In ZE, go to the Change: next to layers and it'll open the layer dialog box.
- Hit the "new" button.
- Right click on the new layer and rename it to your name.
- Always work in this layer, not the BASE layer, make sure you change it everytime you start up.
To make your layer work ingame:
- Open ZE, load dmi.wld
- Click the Game Modes: CONFIGURE button. (by the layer thing)
- Under common layers, REMOVE YOUR LAYER THAT YOU CREATED. (don't worry, this doesn't delete it)
- Click on ELI under mode name.
- Under "Layers Used" click "add"
- Select the layer that you created, ex. DMI_Karnage
- Click the update REQ and Mode REQ button.
- Save world.
When you're done, send me a zipped folder that contains:
- a msh folder including any new mesh you added
- an odf folder including any new odf you added
- world1 including your .lyr file
Released Assets
Prefab Pack Released
A variety of models to help you fill your lot.
Note: if you modify any of these objects in any way, you MUST rename the msh, rename the tga, hex edit the msh to reference the renamed tga and rename the odf. Or else we'd paste over each other's stuff. If you fail to follow this direction, I will simply disregard the contents you give me (as it would compromise the entire level).
Stairs:

ill take the lot # G1 please :maulsaber: :vader2: :jango:
edit: can someone please input a clone assassin as my unit w/ my name please?

In short: No. There's too many people participating, and all of us'd want their own unit, so it isn't possible. And.... what's google got to do with it?

edit:hey rep, how do i send you my odf msh and world1 folder, cause i put it all in a folder, and now im done?
