Boot up computer with keyboard

Post by Null_1138 »

I was able to boot up my old computer simply by pressing the spacebar. I forgot how to set it up on my new one, so does anyone know how to do this? Oh, this is Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.

Not all computers will let you, you might check the BIOS boot settings to see if it has an option that lets you do this.

I've checked it before, but I don't know what to look for. What is it called? And what kinds of computers won't let me do this, if you know?

It should be pretty self-evident, it'll be something like BOOT FROM DEVICES or something of that ilk. And no, I have no idea what computers would or wouldn't let you.
