Why is that a good reason to not include rebel ground vehicles? The fact we dont see that happen should be plenty of reason to add something we haven't seen. Like a behind the scenes type scenario. Dice had no problem getting creative with sullust, something we have not seen. We really didnt see female storm troopers, rebel twileks, rebel zabraks, those cool looking imperial shock troopers or the shadow troopers in the OT. Actually you dont see jet packs on storm troopers or small portable shield generators either used by the rebels in the movies. Respectfully I don't see "well they weren't in the movies" as a viable reason to not include something since dice already added things we didn't see. Though im sure that can be remedied in paid DLC. Watching A New Hope, we didn't see AT-ATs or had knowledge of Scout troupers until a few movies later. To the characters in those movies those things always existed in that universe and in the lore of Star Wars, its just we the audience didn't see them until a few movies later. Much like sullust and some of the gear we see that is new to us, but not to these characters. I highly doubt the rebel alliance used just x wings and snow speeders when going head to head with imperial forces. Disney loves to add to the new canon, especially now that they got rid of most of the eu. Im just saying this was a missed opportunity on the part of DICE and EA to include a new piece of the new canon by adding new things we haven't seen before but fit in the context/theme/design of the movies in terms of vehicular combat.ggctuk wrote:We never see the Battle of Sullust or Tatooine in the films, so really there's no reason to not have Rebel ground vehicles there, even if they just hijacked an AT-ST.
The double negative means that you guys are on the same side!TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:Why is that a good reason to not include rebel ground vehicles?ggctuk wrote:We never see the Battle of Sullust or Tatooine in the films, so really there's no reason to not have Rebel ground vehicles there, even if they just hijacked an AT-ST.
Read what I said: I said as we did not see these battles in the film, there should be no reason for them to not include Rebel vehicles. You've misread me as sayign there is no reason to include them.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:Why is that a good reason to not include rebel ground vehicles? Ive seen gameplay of Walker assault, it probably would benefit form a rebel version of that. Seeing as rebels lose 60% of the time on that game mode, why not let imperial characters see how they would fair on the other side of the fence.
Also I would count the taun tuan as a vehicle, but it seems they are just scenery.

Multiplayer only. You'll the a new option in the MP menu to toggle the Battle of Jakku content. Once you switch it on, you'll see a new mode called "Turning Point", and two Jakku maps added to the map rotations of the normal game modes: "Graveyard of Giants" in Walker Assault, Supremacy and Fighter Squadron, "Goazan Badlands" in all other modes.Anakin wrote:i think it's a stupid question. But were can i start the battle of jakku?? I bought it, downloaded, but i cannot find it. Is it for multi-player/mission, or both??
