just got a mail from my dealer where he wrote that he shipped it today so i propably will get the game tomorrow tuesday!

Got the colectors edition today

It´s the DVD version and it comes in a DVD case and a cool looking 3D extra cover.
Inside you find beside the game DVD a 65 pages manual and a foldable unit chart in keyboard size.
One side explains the rebel units and wich of the can be build in each level and the other explains the empire side.
Now i need to install the game

EDIT: just noticed that there is a 2nd Bonus CD Rom

It´s a german dealer and only ship to germany and austria.

duuh, i don´t think that i have enough time in the next 2 days to write a review. Had only played one campaign mission today (Thyferra known from the X-wing book series) and still need to find out how the game realy works.

Here are a few screenshots:
I have resized them to 800600 so the overall quality isn´t that good.

first one is the ingame browser:

There are some buttons to the right
Instand action (dunno what is good for)
The default ingame browser (what you actualy see)
news (open a gamespy website in your inet explorer/firefox)
community (open a gamespy website in your inet explorer/firefox)
options
buddies
profile
exit


Between the game list top window and the browser chat down window there are some more buttons (refresh, filter, host and join)

Next one is the host screen:

on the left you see 3 buttons (buddies, more options and load map. this may load addon maps because there are 2 buttons for maps. One is named "official" and the other "user".
Below these buttons you see an actual list of maps you can play. Well you need to choose what kind of gameplay you want (spacemaps/groundmaps) before you enter this host screen! So this shows spacemaps only.
On the right is the player list 2 up to 8 players and below is the chatscreen.

the last one is from my actual campaign after succsessfully won the first mission on Tyferra. Next known Rebel base is located on Fonder.
I will flatten that area tomorrow
