Re: aiming laser?

What you can do is have the same weapon, say a rifle, as the primary and secondary weapon so it doesn't look like it changes.
Let the primary have it's normal ordnance and for the secondary change the ordnance and and class to a beam type weapon, change the beam color to red and size it the way you want and then just change the LifeSpan and a few other things like ImpactEffect (to nothing as you don't want any reactions if you point it at a wall) as well as max damage to 0 for the beam ord.odf
So how it would work is you select secondary weapon press fire, it starts the laser, switch back to primary and fire. The beam should still follow where the gun in pointed.
Did this as one of the many failed flashlight attemps but as an aiming laser it should be okay. And if you make PassThough = 0 then it shouldn't go through objects like walls or units.
