heres a far better UV mapping tut, wasnt hard to find since its the one i used years ago...

Yes, Foundation is necessary. You will have to install PandemicBF2.xsiaddon, confeniently located in BF2_Modtools/XSIAddon. (I think that Foundation is necessary...There might be another tool, but I have no knowledge of one...)
You also should download the trial before buying it...$500 is a real chunk of cash for the full version.

All you need to do is export the file as a .xsi (File > export > DOTxsi (i think) ) Then send it to me through save file or MSN or one of those

Small update: I'm about half way done with UV mapping. I also remodeled parts of the gun (NOT changed the shape, just reduced polygons and did some tweaks) The texture is about 60% done, the base texture is almost done, then i gotta make scratches and such. I'll PM you a picture in a bit.
