Looks pretty good. Doesn't the conversion pack already have edited sides though? Also, I assume this is just the republic right? If it is then you should make an edited CIS side also.
This replaces the conversion packs sides, but I won't make a cis side pack(that MIGHT change) since the convo pack uses the game's cis side, and only adds three more unit classes to them.

-Release of ALL assets after 2.0 is released (on condition that nobody tries to continue the pack)
-In-shell coded modes (thanks to [RDH]Zerted). Things like BFX mode, +123 mode, etc will be there for modders to make their mods compatible with the Unofficial 1.2 Patch & the Convo Pack
From the Frequently Asked Questions topic in the SWBF1 Conversion Pack forum. I'm not sure whether what you are doing (nice work by the way) fits that condition. I think it is okay since you aren't really continuing the pack, right?

Wouldn't modifying the files break online compatibility? It's better to ask either Tean' or Mav'.

I'll pm one them, and I'm not sure if this will break online compatibility since the convo pack is an addon map after all. I might have to test that out, but your most likely right

You should probably check with Teancum on this. I'm personally 50/50 on this, since it most likely will cause a disjoin in terms of the already-small online users of the Conversion Pack - if anything were done other than visual changes (a la 1.2/1.3), then it would break online compatibility with the vanilla (?!) Conversion Pack.
Basically, what this does is modify either the 41st, 146th, 212th, 327th, or Galactic Marine sides. Modifying those won't break online compatibility with the regular game (since they only show up in the Conversion Pack maps), but again, any sort of stat/weapon changes will break online compatibility with the Conversion Pack.

I sent ya a PM, but here's my take on it:
-It's gotta include backups of the original sides, and you need to be VERY explicit that this will break online compatibility if you use these sides. After thinking about it more, that's all that I've got issue with. As long as it's very obvious that these won't work online then we won't get flooded in the Convo Pack forum with problems.

The skins shure look neat. Great Job. Also since it is a conversion pack how many maps does it hold?

Raptor, this is a side mod pack, not map pack. I've sent Teancum a PM to just to see if I can still do this, if anyone is wondering whats going on. I don't like taking chances, as they usually end up putting me in nasty situations.
edit1:
Good News!!!
Teancum has comfirmed that what I'm doing is okay. So that means I'll start to work on it again.
Nova, you can have whatever clone legion you want on those planets. Here's the install txt:
Hidden/Spoiler:
how to install my side mods
Go into a legion folder you fancy, then rename rep***%% to either of the following:
rep212th, rep146th, rep327th, rep41st, and repmarine. After that, place the file in the side
folder found here: C:programfiles/lucasarts/starwarsbattlefrontII/gamedata/data/_lvl_pc/side
List of my legion's names:
rep29th, rep72nd, rep85th, rep345th, 487th, and 541st.
To install the First Person Models, remove the following folders out the all the legion folders:
29th, 72nd, 85th, 345th, 487th, and 541st. Place them in the fpm folder found here:
C:programfiles/lucasarts/starwarsbattlefrontII/gamedata/data/_lvl_pc/fpm
IMPORTENT NOTE:
Make Sure you make backups of these files: rep41st, rep146th, rep212th, rep327th, and repmarine.
since this replaces the final convo packs sides, make sure you have it. If you replace the
game's rep file, you'll only have units, and no tanks or flyers.
Also, I've updated the first post. The fourth legion has been made, so that leaves two(or three)more to go.
Oh, I see. Will there be a camo legion in this pack?? And could we replace these sides with the regular ones? Like replace the 501st on missions such as Mustafar or Utapau?
