lol, this map sound SO good, so I'll wait to DL it before your FInal version :P - or maybe wait to you release the next version :wink:

alright, beta 0.50 is nearing release, so here are the changes:

1. Command battle droid for the CIS.
2. EMP trooper for the Republic.
3. explosive barrels added.
4. energy generator health increased.
5. energy generator explosion shakes screen up and does damage.
6. crawl spaces added to back of storage room.
7. Boxes added to provide troops with cover and for scenery.
8. bridge placement modified.
9. Boarding trooper's rifle flash is now blue and not red.
10. Droideka added to CIS team.
11. orange tint removed.

will be released soon after some final touch-ups.

sounds cool.

one more thing to tell u. In game, the msh for one of the droids was very unstable.

Oh I know what he's talking about. I had forgotten about that! Um...You know how bots look a bit deformed from far away? It's some sort of graphic error with the game. Anyway, when this happens the battle droids turn completely white. It's very wierd and distracting.

It's some sort of graphic error with the game
im sorry for the doubl post but...its not a graphic error, thats what a LowRezuloution model is.

I was realy surprised to see that the generator use an animation . You can see that thing working.
I was more surprised that the original shild generator didn“t have the rotation animation on Hoth.

So did you change something or does the Hoth version have a bug?

i didnt change much, except the health, and explosion type for the un-released beta 0.50.....i guess the hoth has a bug.

Chamboozer your map is pure fun. However because my boarding trooper skin looks so crappy I would like to make another one for the next version? also maybe some more crawl spaces

Pretty good! The gameplay is fun and it would be even better on multiplayer. In my opinion, this is one of those maps that may be best played on multiplayer. Wait, a minute. What am I saying? All maps are better in multiplayer! Anyway, here are things that need changing/fixing...

1) Units names.
2) There needs to be medical and ammo droids at the CPs.
3) If you try hard enough, you can jump out the window into space. One thing you could do to fix this is take a screenshot of stars (from the level) then save it in Paint. Next, copy and paste the pic over a lego texture (.tga file). Select a lego poster (with the correct texture) and cover up the openings with it. That way it'll be like a window and people won't be able to get out.
4) Once you get AI planning down, you should make some more hallways and rooms. I believe this will improve the overall level.
5) Some of the nodes (AKA spawn points) are in the line of fire. For example, one time I spawned as a droid and was killed right on the spot by crossfire. Again, after getting planning down, you can put the spawn nodes in safe locations without AI getting stuck.

Well, I hope these suggestions help! This map is quite fun at the moment and I can't wait until you release the final version! Good luck!
