I have this weird problem that if I copy a side to my sides folder and then munge with it checked, the next time I munge, even if i take the side out of the sides folder it still ends up going into the munged game files when i dont want it too. I dont know what this is called when it happens so I didnt know what to look for in the FAQ.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

You need to do a clean, just a warning though after you do the clean your munge will take a LONG time. Also a manual clean would work and would help in more specific files to be removed and take less time to munge.

Ill try the manual one and see if that works!

Actually, you just need to remove your side's folder from ...\BF2_ModTools\data_modID\_BUILD\Sides, ...\BF2_ModTools\data_modID\_LVL_PC, and the sides folder in your map's addon folder.

But I still want to have some sides that i can mod
EDIT: Could I just get rid of the PC folder inside \BF2_ModTools\data_ABC\_BUILD\Sides\***\MUNGED
*** is whatever the side is.

Both things are involved in a manual clean, although yours is more specific (I was trying to keep it as simple as possible but this works too).
