A new Star Wars game is to be announced December 12th:

I'm guessing that it's BF3, but at this point it could be anything. Any predictions?

Nah -- it's a confirmed unveiling of a new game. So we don't have to worry.

I gotta go with Tean on those three, I'm hoping Rep Com 2 or SWBF 3, since they technically already released a TFU 'sequel' But it would be nice to have another TFU game

Another two possibilities are KOTOR 3 (highly unlikely, but still possible) or a new flight-sim (again, highly unlikey, but still, a possibility). Another possibility is that it could be totally different from the games we're thinking of.

Ooh, Ooh, how about Sims: Star Wars? Or a Spore-type game? Both would be completely unexpected and totally awesome!

it would be imperial commando: the new age. or something like that not atually republic commando 2: imperial commando. It would be good timing if a new rc game came out as he books for imperial commando have just come out. Im guessing swbf3

I think I'll be happy with this announcement (whatever it is) once I find out whos developing it. After all, with LucasArts at the helm the game could already be screwed.

I really hope its rep com 2. I've been playng Rep com 1 again lately, and recognozed just how fun it is.

Just a little something I thought I'd point out; Naming the Republic Commando Sequel "Republic Commando 2: Imperial Commando" is contradictory. You're either an Imperial Commando or a Republic Commando, you can't be both. The title of the sequel will probably just be "Imperial Commado". And if I remember right, stormtrooper commandos were already introduced some time prior to RC, and they didn't wear Katarn Armor. They wore something similar to scout trooper armor.

Back on topic though, I'm hoping to God they'll come out and announce BF3 already.

So long as they get a good studio to do the work they've got a good chance for a great game. Pandemic and Free Radical are out, but they've used Raven Software in the past, and I've loved literally every Raven game I've played.

If it's another Republic Commando game, I hope it shows Order 66 as well if it goes to Imperial Commando.

Well, LucasArts have indeed had time to sort out the BFIII mess in FreeRadical's disastrous administration.

Ugh, I hope it's not another "The Clone Wars" game.

I hope it's going to be released on the Wii, whatever it is. Did anyone else know the entire SWG collection is available on Steam for like $9.99? I saw it the other day and thought it was really cool.

I'm hoping for an RC:2, or maybe a game about ARC's.

I personally am just about praying for RCII, not an imperial commando, though. The plot leaves off so perfectly, I'm really hoping for one... Really hoping, especially considering I played through it again the other weekend. Naturally, I'll be excited whatever the case may be. I can't see a Force Unleashed 2 a whole lot, what with the "Utlimate Sith Edition" and the fact that, well, canonically, you wouldn't be able to play as Starkiller... I'd love BFIII, but without Pandemic (who obviously was out a long time ago anyways), I wonder if we'll get modding for it, which is really what I love about the games so much past the (short) campaign, while online is still fun...

We're been given a pre-movie game, we just got an original trilogy game, and now I'm hoping for a Prequel trilogy game (That's not some lame little cartoon Anakin running around Ryloth.) RCII.

I would agree with you on that.

I'll be happy just as long as it has nothing to do with the animated series, is not "Force Unleashed 2: The Search for More Money," and isn't a Lightsaber Wii game.


Battlefront III would be preferred, especially if it has an Xbox 360 release. I needs mah achieveables.
