How to edit stock maps

How can i get the stock maps to have a data-___ folder like mod maps do? so i can edit them the same way

I have psych0's ODF Parameters and LUA Callback Reference text documents open 24/7 and I take a look at the FAQ every now and again. I only visit the web version of the shipped documentation though because I don't have Word installed on my desktop and I'm too lazy to stand up, grab my licensed copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate and install it. :P

That was actually a rhetorical question, but its nice to know that the world isn't going to explode since more than one person actually uses their vast rescources. :P

Heh, I particularly find many of the docs fascinating. It gives me new ideas for things to stuff into my mod and all that cool jazz. :)
