XSI Texture Editor UV Map

Post by trainmaster611 »

I followed Bandu's texture tut and I've got the texture applied to the appointed UVs.

But when I go to the texture editor, the UV map of the selected polys doesn't show up. Instead, I get the map of all of the polys except for the ones I selected. I've tried messing with the UV Projection selections but its either the entire model, or the unselected polys.

How do I switch to the selected UV polys? :|

What i basicly do, is hit the spacebar so you go in 'objectselectmode', and then alt+7 to open Texture Editor.. Then, you can select the poly's.. How? Select them in Texture Editor, or press T, and in Texture Editor select one random point. Now, in your scene, you can just select poly's on the model and they'll be highlighted in Texture Editor.. Hope this helps ;)
