The game, for me, seems to be crashing without any warning. I have no idea whats triggering it, but this as been the second time that the game crashed while on this map.

EDIT: I think the crash is a result of flying in enemy vehicles, but I cannot be too sure. WHat doesn't make sense is that it doesn't crash right away, but about a couple minutes of flying in the enemy vehicle.

I need somne help. I downloaded the map, put all files into the folder Sal i made in addon, but when i start the map it says:"FATAL: COULD NOT OPEN MISSION.LVL." EDIT: Nevermind, i figured the problem out. Didn't see the extract all option there.

Did you make the folder in all capitals? That could be the problem. I don't know for sure.

You have done some great work on this map!! Keep it up!!

Just my opinions: I understand that the palm trees are supposed to be there...and they are well made...its just that for some reason they look out-of-place. Can't put my finger on it.

The other thing is the troops. You have said that increasing the number crashes map. But is there another way? I took me 1.5 hours to play the map and in that time I only saw about 12 troops from both sides. I had destroyed 3x as many vehicles. The reinforc. # kept declining but I never saw the soldiers....at one point I walked up to enemy CP that was filled with several ships and vehicles and not a single soldier. BTW: I liked how the vehicles exploded when the CP was captured!!

I seems like a great map I and look forward to the improvements!!

Maybe all the geonosis spires are makin the palm trees look out of place cos there were palm trees on saleucami but no spires :S

You should just edit the spires' tga files so that they match the environment. I do that a lot whenever I need rock formations in a map.

Im going to start working on my own saleucami, i downloaded this one but i didnt find it as fun as i thought it would be, but nice try mazda :D

BTW, who has been successful in placing capitol ships on ground maps? Such an addition would allow me to really remodel and extensively improve the map and its gameplay.

Also, anyone find a way to edit the msh files? :?

Hehe, i guess i have a bad memory, maybe try to add some water if you havent already considered it? putting in vegetation makes the map lag.

By the way, the SW databanks' photo of Saleucami in Expanded Universe section shows red-skin troopers. This guy called Assasin_Clone is working on them at http://www.gametoast.com/index.php?name ... 2&start=90 . Ask him if you can use his red skin for your map when its done.

As I've said before, water will be in the final version which will hopefully be the 1.2 :wink:

BTW , have you took out the 2 collision references inside the palm tree ODF;s like I told you? it will make the Munge create a collision for them (just like it does for all the shipped jedi).


When you add water make sure to add a green grass texture on the water edge ...since this is the only places Saleucami has grass.


Also you should add in the other trees I gave you ( the one with white leaves on the top) . you can see them in that pic ,from SW databank, you showed.

Id also make the plants on your map more sparcely populated and not in clumps as you did in a previous version ...it looks kinda odd have all the palm trees etc in 1 spot.


I agree with a previous comment that the spires should be a touch browner (dark brown) since in the movie it is dark brown in places away from the water.
