Double pistol anims questions

Double pistol anims questions
i downloaded DarthD.U.C.K.'s doubleweapon anims but ive had some troubles.
1: when i goto my maps animations folder and folow the tut that came with the downloaded anims the files dont appear in my munged folder
2: when i use the premunged anims like calo and jango and i attach the weapon to the left hand, my ingame side doesnt have the correct anims and my bf2log says that my side is missing the animation bank like calo or jango.
so my question is, can just follow the tut, but not munge the raw anims and use the premunged anims in my side's munged folder to solve that error in my bf2log?

1. where the munged animation is put depends on the path ouve referenced in the munge.bat
no, you cant. you must have the mnged anims in your sides or worlds munged folder
if battlefront cant find the munged anims you put them either in the wrong folder or referenced a wrong name in the odf

sounds like he referenced it right in his odf, but does not have the munged animation files in his munged folder

yes, thats what i already said
you also get that error when youve referenced a wrong name and of course battlefront cant find the file then, thats why i asked him to check this too

i wasn't trying to spam/mention things that were previously said,
i was just stating my opinion from the infomation he gave us.
It would have been helpful if you had posted your errorlog, that way we could rule out a misspelling in your odf.

anway, lets get back ontopic
about the bf2log: he said that the bf2log is complaining about the anims being not there. the log doesnt have further messages regarding missing anims indicating if it is really not there or if its just misspelled because battlefront cant know.

not to argue, but it bwould say something like
.Cant find anim "colo"
if he misspelled it in his odf, it would appear here,
but obviously my 2 cents isnt valued here so i will shut up

yeah, that was my point. he said that hes getting this error. it comes up either when the anims are really missing or when its misspelled (in the odf or in the actual name of the anim). there arent any messages the bf2log can generate which tell if the anim is really missing or if its just misspelled. the reason is that battlefront simply cant know. it doesnt check all files in the munged folder and compares them to the name in the odf taking typos into consideration.(i hope ive expressed this better now)THEWULFMAN wrote:not to argue, but it bwould say something like

Maybe, you dont added skelletonname="calo/jango..." to your units odf?

im pretty shure he did that because otherwise battlefront couldnt complain that its missing

sorry 4 the lateness i had a soccer game, i checked my unit's odf and there was no mispelling and i put the munged anims in my munged folder
