Added a second hotfix to the first post. It should add sounds to Commando weapons. Extract to \Star Wars Battlefront II\Gamedata

My fault, open the rar again and browse through all the folders until you find re3.lvl, copy that and paste it to Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC\SOUND

i have done it right as you said but it seems that the sounds are still missing
must i remove the re3.lvl from Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\Addon\BF1\data\_LVL_PC\Sound to make the sounds working, or can my swbf2 version cause some problem so that sounds are not working?

Well, not all levels are gonna work -I only tried Cloud City-, it's all about where I referenced the files in the lua, and I'm still figuring out how I had it 9 months ago. I'll fix it it for the next release.

Can't believe you're still working on this Tean! Talk about dedication! :)
I haven't grabbed and installed this yet but I'm sure it's great work as usual.
Oh, and to all those who are still here..."Hi."

Geonosis Spire:
Geonosian fighter missiles are invisible.

Jabbas palace hunt:
Camera view with gamoreans (However you spell their name) could use some adjustment to not cause such an awkward view. Fixed

Tatooine Dune Sea:
Destroyer Droids are absent from CIS in Classic Conquest. They are always present in other Classic Conquest maps. Fixed
Skiff has messy collision detection. Can be walked through and shot through. Making it hard to destroy.

Classic Conquest issues for all or most maps:
Blasters pistols, Rifles, Sniper Rifles, And grenade launchers + Recon droid orbital strike do barely if any damage at all to any vehicles.
Pilots Cannot slice into vehicles nor Automatically repair ships while in flight (Unless this is intended).

EDIT Nevermind my statement above on classic conquest orbital strike, It seems to work fine. I misjudged it.

That's a shipped thing -- it's really for the unofficial 1.2 patch.
Tie defender still doesn't repair itself if you are a Pilot
Space Bespin runs all shipped assets, nothing custom but the sky.
GCW Classic Conquest: Rebel Soldier doesn’t have Battlefront I skin
Yeah, the SWBF1 Rebel skins looked all lowrez and awful, so I used the BF2 ones.
Endor: GCW Hero Assault: Playing as Han Solo, you can’t switch back from fusion cutter to blaster pistol
Another shipped bug, but I think RepSharpShooter's gonna fix it

I think that covers the ones that aren't really my realm. Hopefully that didn't come off rude, it's just to help me narrow things down.

Teancum, Jabba's Palace Hunt is actually an additional mode added by the Conversion Pack and is not a shipped thing.

Secondly, I had installed the latest hot fix, the one that gives sound to the Republic Commandos. I did everything you stated in your second post regarding this hot fix. I tested it out on Ord Ibanna, Bespin: Cloud City, and Kashyyyk: Docks and still no sound.

Finally, a couple of bugs for now:

All CW Classic Conquest: The Jet Trooper's Jetpack is missing sound.
All maps/modes with the Republic Commando: His Anti-Armor, when fired in first person view, crashes the game to the desktop, right when you hit the fire button.

Thanks again.

Did you try the Imperial Commando at Cloud City rather than the Republic? As far as I know it only fixes the Imperial Commando and it worked fine for me in Cloud City.

I've just played as the Imperial Commando on Bespin: Cloud City and still no sound; he is just missing sound to the DC-17m Blaster Rifle and I think grunts and whatnot. The grenade and pistol sound is present though.

And Teancum, could you possibly change 'Imperial Commando' to 'Storm Commando'? For accuracy?

negah, you might have sound for the Republic Commando on Bespin: Cloud City, but I don't. Although I did before I had to reinstall my game twice.

Anyways, bugs for:

- GCW XL: Not enough units on either side to make this mode really XL.

- GCW Classic Conquest: The Imperial Pilot uses a TIE Pilot model instead of the AT-ST Pilot model.

General:

- All GCW Classic Conquest: The Rebel Pilot's and the Dark Trooper's blast cannon uses the sound of the shipped shotgun instead it should use the sound of the Wookie Bowcaster.

EDIT:

Kashyyyk: Islands:

- CW Conquest/2-Flag CTF/XL: The Nemodian Assassin is playable right at the start of the game instead of being unlockable by scoring a necessary amount of points.
- CW Conquest/2-Flag CTF/XL: The Republic Commando is missing all sound.
- The Republic Commando’s Anti-Armor, when fired in first person view, crashes the game to the desktop right when you hit the fire button.

- Sound effects for EMP bursts for both the EMP grenade and launcher are missing.

- The Republic Commando’s Anti-Armor, when fired in first person view, crashes the game to the desktop right when you hit the fire button.
- The Clone Recon Trooper’s DC-17m Sniper Rifle is missing sound.
- CW and GCW Conquest/2-Flag CTF/Uber: The option to play, as the Hero for either side doesn’t appear at all.

Voice overs aren't ever gonna be changed. The heroes say like five things, and it's just not worth the effort. I'll look into the others.

Rhen Var: Harbor: GCW:
2 flag CTF: Normal Imperial infantry units are missing. Only units which require points are available.
1 flag CTF: Pretty much un-playable. No CP's and no flag. Only way to spawn is at ATAT.

Rhen Var Harbor: CW
All modes aside from XL,Classic Conquest and Hero assault load the map with it totally void. Completely un-playable.
Hero Assault: Mandalore guy has his flamethrower's icon nearly in the middle of the screen.

Well, for some reason, both download links for the second hotfix are fried because of "technical difficulties" on the part of SendSpace, so I guess I'll have to wait a while... Unless someone would be nice enough to upload it somewhere else temporarily?
