Rewriting LDX file?

Whenever I try to munge/start a new map, it says that it's rewriting the LDX file and then the munge process seems to stop. What is going on? Is this bad? Or is it just one of those things I need to wait out?

Remember to
Search before making new topics, your keywords would typically consist of what the error is. This game has been modded more than 5 years and there really aren't any surprises left unless new operating systems and software introduce new conflicts, but aside from those you are rarely the first to experience these issues.
