Well, this one was just a dumb idea I had that was gonna be for fun at first, but then would be actually pretty useful in some situations. "Dud" grenades. They never go off. But the AI still scatter. Which could possibly help you in some situations.

Did anyone play the Star Wars Episode I PC game? There was one weapon that you got when playing as Panaka that shot blaster bolts that ricochet off of walls.
My attempt to duplicate this didn't work.

someone should duplicate the wookiee bowcaster effect from RC, where it sends you backwards when it hits you.

How about a gun like a wookie bowcaster that shoots something that bounces around but everytime it touches something it makes a huge explosion.
kind of like Sky's disc gun

just to clarify, missing weapon geometry lines just results in an invisible weapon, looks really buggy most the time. and i like the bouncing bowcaster/grenade idea

Scatter nade. A slow moving grenade that floats when just thrown, floating slowly, sort of like an aerial mine, but when it hits an object, it blows up causing no damage, just a huge push radius, or if it hits a wall, secondary ord causes it to ricochet really quickly back and forth until it makes contact. Not sure if it's 100% possible.

how about...
not really a weapon but a mini command post.
it could be smaller than the normal and you can spawn from it as long as the person who left it there is alive.
it could be the weapon of the highest/most valualbe unit and could be a secondary weapon.
It should be able to be destroyed by about 4 grenades or a rocket launcher

can't remember excatly, but stuff like that has been mentioned, can't be done because you can't deploy regions (I think, not sure though)

sure its possible. the first part i actually already made something pretty similar to, a weapon that doesnt move too fast, and bounces off objects and sticks to people

just add the push line into that.

Friendly fire gun, fires a beam, that when it hits the target eg. a clone, all of the other clones/team mates open fire on it. Would be cool if like a large group of soldiers is heading towards you and you open fire and the soldiers massacre them selves :emp:

LOL, how about a deployable grenade that hunts(auto locks) on to enemies
maybe it could float around or bounce!

The team switch thing was discussed before. Improbable.
The floating lock-on grenade has already been developed by Sky in one of his weapon packs on SWBFFiles.
