Battlefield 2, I got it a little while ago. Really great, in the first 4 weeks I downloaded SeN City, AIX, Sandbox, and, some other mods.
If you can afford the complete collection like me, GET IT. (And download mods)

lol been playing a load of Starcraft 2
I played the first one for a little while after my Korean friend coached me to a 1-1-7 (w/d/l) record. As a semi-serious gamer that record has tarnished my confidence in my RTS abilities. My only hope for redemption was the second Starcraft.
Played through the pretty epic campaign on normal, and decided to hop into multiplayer. I Started out going 0-8. Now after some intense close calls I have worked my league games to 24-20. Today I moved to the gold league in 4v4, which made me pretty happy.
Oh, I almost forgot the adventure part. So my strat is to rush to get 1 stargate so I can get a steady supply of Void Rays going. So I'm sending my 1 scout out, I see my enemy's scout as we wander past eachother. I go to his base and find two gas extractors and an engineering bay. No units. So his scout finds my base and I have no units up beside workers. So I find his HQ building flying around. It lands right next to my base as my first ship pops out. I start to laser it, but all his workers come in a repair it faster than I can hurt it. So I attack with all my workers and kill all of his and my rays are hurting the HQ, but it becomes a planetary fortress (HQ with 2 big ground attacking guns) and blows up 3 of my workers as it dies. I manage to say "wtf strategy is that" before the dude leaves.

I played StarCraft BroodWar against a friend of mine (who likes to use small armies instead of just one unit for scouting), I was zerg and he was protoss.
I build an army of 36 hydralisks, 10 ultralisks and 8 lurkers. Ive burrowed hydras and lurkers at the only place where my frient could leave his base and placed ultralisks nearby so that he couldt see them. He was really frustrated when he tried send one of his scouting operations and it was ripped apart in a matter of seconds, following by a complete destruction of his base, since he was missing half of his army now

I reinstalled Rome: Total War the other day. I forgot how fun it was to sic War Elephants on the enemy.

As a result, I had a soldier go flying at such an angle I thought he was going to splat against the screen.
I've also been making some progress in Napoleon: Total War, specifically in the historical battles. I was able to win just by a hair in the Trafalgar scenario. I still can't believe I won, considering I only had two ships left versus the three British ships.

That is fun, isn't it? Once I was playing my little brother, who was playing as a phalanx nation.. can't remember who, I think it was either Macedon or Seleucids. Anyway, I had promised to give him some sort of advantage as a handicap since I'm better than he is, so I chose Numidia... basically one of the weakest nations in the game. Well, I was losing by a ton as his infantry ripped mine apart and soaked up all my archers fire with their shields, until I bring my one solitary unit of elephant mercenaries around to his phalanx's flank... and WREAKED HAVOC. I mean HAVOC. I ran straight down his entire line, lost no more than 1 or 2 elephants along the way, and routed every single unit he had... needless to say, he was visibly upset.

But it was still awesome: for me.

Began playing what is the first video game I remember playing. Army Men is one of the most frustrating games ever. So on this level there are about 7 enemy tanks. Your goal is to rob a bank, and since no matter what two of the men load the stuff into the bank you only get two dudes (I was so lucky for the half-track run over one of the guys). I wasted all my mortars and mines on the way to meet up with the guys, so when they load up I got attacked by 4 tanks all coming from different directions. This wouldn't be too terrible, but the squad can't die, you can't die, and the half-track can't die. I had to waste 3 air strikes and the last mortars on blowing up entrances to the bank area, and used mines to stop the last two tanks, but then there are tons of enemy infantry that you have to kill. Somehow me and the dude lived, and the half-track lived. Right before the end of the level the half-track takes a sharp turn and runs me over. :vader2:

Wow.....too bad you don't have a recording of that match. I would gladly view it.
@Silva: Wow, talk about unforgiving. Seeing how you played the first game you remember playing, I'm now tempted to find a way to play the original Wolfenstein.

You know... now that I think about it, I might have saved it. I'll have to look for it when I have more time.

Well, let's hope you saved it, then.
I was able to beat both historical battles in the Barabarian Invasion expansion to Rome: Total War today. Partly because Badon Hill was pretty easy, and partly because I favor cavalry archers in the case of the Huns for the Battle of Chalons/Catalaunian Fields. I love to use my skirmishers.
Now, to work on the Alexander the Great expansion.

Meh. That expansion wasn't that great, don't bother. Sadly, I didn't save it. However, I did save a replay where me and another brother (out of my supply of 5) decided to see what would happen when we took maxed out gold, spent it all on Carthaginian armored elephants, and attacked 6 enemy factions of peasants. 'Twas impressive. I'll have to put it on Youtube so you can see it.

Actually, I had no choice; I got Total War: Eras as a present, which was a pack that came with every Total War game up until Rome and its expansions.
And I just might put a video of a battle I just did in Medieval 2. Since it was one of the first battles I was able to actually win (yes, I'm not that good at RTS tactics), I certainly felt like I accomplished something. It was also a quick battle, so I had absolutely no clue what I was going to get in the first place.
Edit: Been playing AoE 2 lately. I forgot how fun it was. As I've been doing the campaign in the Conquerors expansion, I found an easy (albeit cheap) way to beat one mission; create and spam Petards.

Army Men was torture, but I was able to get through the campaign for the 2nd time. The main problem is levels are divided into two or three fairly long segments, and if you die you are reverted to the beginning of a segment. There's no saving, the game just autosaves at every segment.
The last level was a graveyard, where Tan and Grey are already fighting, and I made it in with myself and my squadron of marines in a truck. After a while of shooting the Tan and Grey, all the dead ones got back up. Only my dead men didn't get up. The fight goes downhill until I remember that I'm supposed to find a portal in the graveyard. Only it took me a good 10 minutes to realize the portal wasn't in the graveyard, and that using your map is a good thing. Another couple minutes later (for the whole time I'm melting my enemies over, and over, and over again with a flamethrower) I break out of the graveyard and go through the portal. Unfortunately this ending may be the most terrible cliffhanger (even worse than Halo 2), and I never owned Army Men II. I played it for a few minutes on my cousins computer, but I'm assuming he doesn't have the disk anymore. Guess I'll have to go find a copy...somewhere.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I have epic adventures on there every time I play with my friends. Today, the three of us made a desperate head-on assault on Isles Innocents (or whatever) and killed literally every member of the enemy team within 10 seconds. 7 of those kills being mine.
Similar story for when we play Horde mode of Gears of War 2. We were getting the crap beat out of us on Security on one of the last waves, and quickly going through ammo without the ability to get to any more alive. We put up an awesome last stand that we surprisingly all made it out of alive, even though two of us had run out of ammo for both primary weapons and the other two were close to it. I think we were playing on Hardcore, might have been Insane.

My roommate and I were bored last night, so we decided to play some 1v1 splitscreen matches in Call of Duty 4. This was my first time playing the game, so I was obviously at a disadvantage, but after a little while I got the hang of things and figured out a few tricks to score some kills. My personal favorite was when I realized that C4 charges could actually be tossed pretty far; at one point I was hiding behind an obstacle while my roommate was charging me, so I was going to just place a charge around the corner and run. However, I wound up throwing it over the obstacle completely by accident, and it landed right at my roommate's feet. I detonated it and he went flying - he never knew what hit him.

From here I proceeded to lob C4 at him for the remainder of our matches and got more kills that way than using actual grenades or guns.

No, I just got the Orange Box. I'm currently on Episode 1 as of now. I guess why I like it so much is that, unlike alot of popular games nowadays (Halo, CoD, TFU, etc) you actually have to think about what you're doing. I guess that's why it brings me back to Jedi Knight.

-Got back into playing Bad Company 2 again. I forgot how fun it is. I'm less C4 crazy than I used to be, but I did try something new today. C4-covered blackhawk, crashed it into an objective in rush. Fun.
-My friend came over with Just Cause 2 recently, and we ended up playing it til later at night that we probably should have, and it was pretty frickin' sweet. Particularly tying up an airport (literally) and jacking vehicles on-sight.
