Alderaan: Ruins

Well, since I finished Rhen Var: Cathedral (more or less) I decided to start up on a new map.
The name of the map (if you can't guess by the title) is Alderaan: Ruins. My goal was to make a unique environment, etc etc etc. I know you all like screenshots, so here they are.
This map currently has custom sides, lots of cool stuff, and will have an easter egg so large it's more of a feature than an easter egg.
The sides:
The
insertnumberihaven'tchosenyetnd Legion: Those awesome-loooking black-and-red clones. These guys will use a lot of awesome player-made models.
Battle Droids of some variety, mixed with various mercenaries.
The map will have some tanks, probably AT-R/P/XTs and some type of Droid Tank.
EDIT: The images were working a minute ago...
I'll get em fixed as quickly as I can.
Screenies are all fixed, if it happens again I'm blaming it on Twitpic.
EDIT2:Ok, I am blaming it on Twitpic.
They should be fixed sometime in the near future.
EDIT3: Fixed. And it will not break again. Because I said so.

Wow! I like this environment.
One thing I don't see is cover. Is there any good spot to hide?

Ok, I uploaded them to imageshack. They will not break. Because I said so.
And, because you had to wait so long for working pics, an extra picture of CC-4531 "Gandalf"!

There are a few ruins scattered about the map, and I will be adding more over the next couple of days. So there should be a good spot to hide.

On the account of the shady looking Clones: when lowering the brightness using (what I am guessing was) the Brightness/Contrast tool in GIMP (or whichever program) to darken, well, anything really, remember to up the contrast a bit so the texture's details aren't completely faded away; doing this makes it look like the units' textures fit in with the map's lighting.

right now the environment looks like a dark yavin to me
do you plan to change the lighting, textures or add other props to make it look more like a new original environment?

@Above I'm going to be adding more reskinned Yavin props, and with the new *SECRET* addition it will look a lot less like Yavin IV, hopefully. I might also change the ground texture because I don't really like the current one.

I'd like to see more brown in the ground texture, bbut I'm a very drab person anyway.

It probably looked like Yavin IV because the ground texture was an edited Yavin IV ground texture.
How does this look for a new texture? Better/worse/different?

The new ground is far better. Looking good! The only thing I would say is to probably not make the clones TOO camouflaged because it makes them too hard to see.

Well, I finished the skin of the last unit on the Republic side, upping the contrast like Marth8880 told me to do, and he looked so much better than all the other units I'm going to redo them all tomorrow. Here's a pic.
EDIT: Added a whole bunch of ruins around the river. Should provide enough cover. Also began reworking the CIS.
Going to summer camp this next week, so not many updates then. I'll probably post a major update with screenshots sometime soon.
