Hopefully this is a simple question...

In ZE, my map is fine. Ingame, it's a bit brighter than I want it to be. How do I make it darker?

Okay... choose a darker color if your current lighting isn't dark enough for you. Make sense, right? Or if only just your terrain is bright, look here: Terrain brightness problem (FAQ)

Actually, no.
In this case, Burn Terrain is a tool in ZeroEditor, which creates shadows based on your lighting scheme.

Where is that tool?

Click the IMAGE button located at the upper righthand corner in ZE. You'll see the Burn Terrain option after.
