Animated Soldier Prop

Has anyone ever turned a player unit mesh into an animated prop (using the playerunit's idle animation)? If so, how might I go about this? I'm looking to create an animated prop that has the mesh of "jed_inf_sith" and stands in the unit's idle pose (but preferably is in the idle animation as well).

Jawa_Killer added Yoda to his map as a prop in ML Kashyyk but removed it because he was animated.

I tried to do that some time ago with one of my test maps, just for the heck of it. Didn't work so well.

In fact, it actually crashed ZE! lol

Thanks for the PM, Ace. That sorted it out. Feel a little D'oh for missing that tutorial.
