Visual Munge problems

Hello, I'm trying to make a basic side modification for the Alliance. Several problems have arisen; do note that I'm quite new to this, as this is my first time making a side mod.

Problem 1: Command prompt reads "error reading processed script" when attempting to munge alliance side, then finishes extremely quickly. I assume this is a problem. I have attempted both forms of the Visual Munge fixes available here http://gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13806

Problem 2: Alliance .tga files appear... incomplete? When editing "all_inf_soldierurban.tga" with paint.net for example, only a few highly faded blocks show up, rather than the full unraveled skin like on ep3 clone troopers.

Problem 3: Assuming I can fix problem two, how would I go about making my changes apply to all Alliance sides when playing? I would of course need a new all.lvl file containing my edited sides, but how do I get this?

Any help would be appreciated.

I use this program to convert TGA files to JPG, then back to TGA. This makes the blacked out textures become 100% visible. Transparency layers will be lost.

Thank you, though the download appears to be broken and there's no Windows 10 version.
Do you know of any other similar programs?

Run the program in compatibility mode and try Vista/7.

No no, the download on the webpage is broken for all versions, I mean.

I found a solution, no worries :) Thanks for the suggestion though.
Just got myself TR's Alpha Mapper plugin for paint.net.
