Yup, I got it from CGT. That place has almost every texture you could imagine. However no tank textures, which I really need.

Cool. How do you get the textures in sketchup, though?

Ok first some new models. I still have to work on the inside and do some touch up details later. However it's about 75% done.





Next the tutorial on how to get the textures in sketchup.

1: Download a texture from your texture website of choice and save it to a folder. You can also go to google images and right click - "save picture as" and save it to a folder too.

2: Open sketchup and click paint.

3: Now just follow where the arrow points and click that button.

5: Find the folder you saved the file to.


6: Finally scale the object to the side you want. You can adjust the brightness too.


7: Last of all apply the texture to the surface you want.

Holy Cow. That building looks just amazing! Ohhhh. The sniping possibilities are endless.

From all these amazing WW2 props I'm assuming you aren't working on IH anymore Bentswo?

Havn't given up yet. Just delayed at most. Hopfully once this WW2 thing is done in a month or two I could focus my efforts back on that.

Also one small prop I whipped up in about 10 minutes.

Here's a Galactic Federation Marine rifle I'm working on. I made the textures myself, so they're not perfect, but they're alright.

Well here's another house I made for the WW2 project. It has stairs and doors leading to all rooms. I still have a little texturing to do to the inside so ignore that.
