Help with map error?

Post by BobTheHunted »

Hello everyone. Lately I have been getting in to modding swbf2. I spent around 4 hours creating my first map, only to find that it crashed on the loading screen. I do know that this is common throughout the modding community and you can easily check for the cause of the crash. I was previously instructed to copy the BF2_modtools application into my swbf2 gamedata folder and run it. Heres my problem, when I click to run the modtools program, it says "Please insert CD 1" with the option to retry or cancel. I won't be able to troubleshoot my map unless I can get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have the DVD or digital download version of SWBF2 use THIS modified BF2_modtools.exe
