Hello, I recently bought battlefront 2 on steam as I was sick of finding my cd whenever I wanted to play. However, now I have a problem I do not know when it happened or if it was official or not but the first person view no longer includes the weapon I am holding and I was wondering if there was a way to fix this.

EDIT: anyone know why this is? it appears as if you are playing split screen on the xox or ps2 it gives a targeting reticle in the center of the screen and that is it, this is very bland so I must know how to fix it. Also, the weapons will sometimes appear on modded maps for some characters but not all of them.

Nope. It's fine where it is. It belong either here or in the Technical forum. I can move it there if you want, but no matter where it is you'll get the same amount of views, and if someone knows the answers they'll let you know.

Check in the options menu and look for something which might have done this.
If it's not there, try a reinstall.

when in doubt for steam files:

1. right click on the game icon in the steam games section
2. click local files
3. click verify integrity of game cache

that has fixed several issues I've had in the past, but if that doesn't work try a fresh reinstall maybe?
