So, I wanted to log on on the Main Page, and I go an error that my group is public frontened, I need to be a member of the Users group.
logging on with the same name/pw on the forums works, though.

RougeKnight have the same problem, So what could cause this?

phpBB / MySQL problem

all users who are not admins or mods are in the same group, with 1200+ people it appears everyone is set to the correct group....some people (like 5) seem to have unknown issues with there cookies, or browser has issues with logging them in, i would clear all cache revisit site , then relogin to the forums as well at gametoast.com/forums. Its cookies/client related unless I hear more users with the same issue.

I get the same error, I just cleared all my cookies and tried it again, but the same thing happens.

If it helps, I'm using Firefox 3.5.7

Cleared all cookies, and tried it in IE, FF, Chrome, and Safari on three different computers. Got the error every time. I think its a prob on your end guru.

Cookies cleared, still the same message.

i checked while phpbb3 (the forums) has no problems related the main site uses joomla for logins, for some reason a few of you were never set from front end users (guests who never verified an email) and I have corrected that for Darth_Spiderpig and RogueKnight..if anyone else has the same login issue errors let me know Ill update your account. LOoking online it says that sometimes happens and mostly when people sign up for the site from the forums instead of on the main page. it all good. try loggined in , post any updates here thanks.

Rogue just Xfire'd me and says he can't log into the forums now, either.

those who posted issuesshould all be working now, i did see RogueKnight signed up only on the forums so the software had issues syncing his account to the main page. Let me know if that is working for you now RogueKnight. looks like a few people who signed up on march of 2009 hsa this issue odd. anyway if anyone else has the issue please post and ill make sure you can use the main page logins as well

Looks like I'm having the same issue. I guess I never noticed it before since I don't usually log into the home page.
