Getting guns to work in SWBf2

Ok, ths is driving me nuts >_< Every time i make a new gun model, when i try to use it it always gets grabbed by the wrong place. For example, I had made a shotgun that I gave to -_-, and when he showed me a pic it wasn't grabbed by the handle, it was like if some had pulled it 1/2 a meter from being grabbed right :/
I have made all the nulls (hp_active, hp_fire) childs of the actual polymesh, made it face the z-axis, and put the handle of the gun at 0,0,0; however, the gun is still messed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe the 'center' of the Axis's of the hp_active has been moved..?

I don't know how to move the centers, though - but sometimes they move :o

Did you freeze all of the nulls?

The only way I got it to line up is if HP_active is a 0,0,0 but I think you already did that. I will get a pic of what I did soon.

Ok, after you freeze the nulls re-aline hp_fire then export. Here is what my working blaster looked like.
