Wired 360 Controller Problem
Hey, I just installed my 360 controller tonight to see how it works and I got almost all the controls sorted out, but for some reason my unit keeps on moving even though I'm not pressing any of the buttons. Does anyone know why this happens?

Re: Wired 360 Controller Problem
Go to the control panel and calibrate the controller.
I had problems with my 360 controller, but I re-calibrated and adjusted some of the controller settings in SWBF2, and now it works.

Ok, well now something's completely out of whack because my unit keeps on looking down and moving. How do I calibrate the controller exactly?

Um I believe (the computer i'm on doesn't have the game, so I'm guess) it's something like axis deadzone or zero zone... Its in the control panel, and I had to mess around with that to make the controller stay...
I'll see what I did tomorrow and re-post.

and under Installed Game Controllers select:
XBOX 360 For Windows(Controller)
then go to:
Properties>Settings tab>Calibrate
and follow the instructions.
but you may have to make custom adjustments for a particular game in that game's control options.

I went there, but I still can't figure it out. Are all the red bars supposed to be matching?

Read the third sentence at the top of that picture. You're on the wrong tab. Ace even told you specifically which tab to go to.

I probably shouldn'tve, but I let out a little chuckle. Seriously Nova, take the time to read what's written. No offense, but we've told you to read what we've written countless times before on other things. It's getting kinda old.Frisbeetarian wrote:Read the third sentence at the top of that picture. Re: Wired 360 Controller Problem
I know where to go and everything, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like when I'm done.
