No I haven't, I guess I'll have to play it over and over to find it. Is it in any specific mode?

The campaign. Just try and get everywhere that you possibly can.

What type of secret is it? Weapon, etc, etc...
Sorry, I like little tastes of my secrets, without the whole thing being given away.

You will be unstoppable. Their weapons will be as waves upon the cliffs. They will perish before your wrath.
*Available for a limited time only. Offer not good in some states including Chaos, Insanity and Denial. See store for details*

Hints....
Imagine that you're playing multiplayer and that
really annoying TK guy is sniping everyone from a rooftop with a machine gun. Follow him.
... and if you're the host and you get to where he is, BOOT HIM! For the sake of sanity, PLEASE!

Yes, I understand it was based off of an unwinnable battle, but this is an absurd thing to put into a game. I found it very challenging to win as the Rebels when I played as an invincible character, and effectively impossible if played any other way.
Well then, let's just call this release a beta.

I'll do my best to make the sides balanced for the next release. (lower number of Dark Troopers and their health?). Anything else? Thanks to everyone who has commented.

Tsk tsk you did not "platformer-proof" your campaign. I had fun finding ways around this:
AQT wrote:This also serves as a safety so that you can't find the Dark Trooper weapon first.
(See video, note that the real action doesn't start until about 1:00 in. Also text at the end is off, after I pick up the weapon you'll see a wipe back to the beginning of the level showing another alternate route.)

Yes also the little secret bonus was nice; it is not shown in the video, just Kyle Katarn the acrobat.

Well if your going to work that hard for it... I think you can have it. It's really quite amazing what people can do with only jumping.
But I'm guessing that most people will find it easier get up there the normal way. This method does "break" the campaign, correct?
Although I probably should spawn the flag
after you open the main door...

I think you should add a fence to that spinning bridge.

Yep, it "breaks" campaign. To be fair, I like looking for ways to break campaign maps, they help me make my own maps better.
You could fix this by:
- only creating what the immediate objective needs
- making sure platforming like this is impossible (not that unreasonable; I do this a lot, it's kind've fun)
- allowing multiple objectives to be completed at once (this rewards the platformer as opposed to railroading him)
What I personally like to do is only make available what the objective-at-hand needs, but that choice is yours.

Another thing you might want to consider doing for campaign is having some of the enemies running around be Imperial Officers.
You could take the stock Officer model (the ones with armor) and reskin most of it black. And you could take the Imperial Officer model from the assets and reskin some of them in tan and black. I do recall units like those in the original Dark forces.
Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to.

I would like to see some skeletons in the campaign, but like H-Bomb said, you don't have to do it if you don't want to.

Mav, why did you have to post that video?!

Well it's good to know these sort of things. I'll definately keep it in mind. Alternatively...
This map wasn't originally built for Campaign. With my new-found knowledge (like Saitek's creative way of putting objects together and platform proofing) I think I'm going to try to make a much more accurate map.
I'll add charred bodies but no Imperial Offiicers or Navy Troopers because the only difference between them and Stormtroopers are one guy has a pistol and the other guy just moves faster.

Don't forget invisible coin blocks.
