Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the map!

Heh, don't you worry, I sense a WIP topic in the fog of war...
PizzatheHutt wrote:But, is that an easter egg ?
LOL, no, that would be funny though!

What do you mean? And haha, Yoda wishes....

I mean that, when a unit jumps on the lunar lander, it sometimes gets inside the lander.
It seems the collision model doesn't fit exactly the lander model.
But that's not a big issue, it only happens sometimes.
Here are some screenshots of this collision error.
And here is a pic of the secret flamethrower on the lunar lander

I thought that the map was pretty well done. It is pretty well balanced in Clone Wars era, but there is something wrong with Galactic Civ. Every time I play that era, the Rebels always get smoked by a large margin. It's probably 'cause of the AT-AT, which is an even bigger vehicle of walking destruction than the AT-TE.

Before, it was overbalanced in the favor of the Alliance, so I must have accidentally overbalanced it in the opposite favor. Glad you enjoyed the map though!

I have to say this is a great map
At first I was a bit dissapointed when looking through the uinit selection (not because of the skins they look good but because of there stock weapons) but when I started playing the gameplay was cool. I noticed again that new weapons aren´t necessary for a decend map.
Really liked the gravity. It is great to just jump over your animies and kill them from behind.Especially bots are easy to kill like this.(I haven´t tried MP yet but probally will soon

)
The only Issue I found apart off the colusion of the lander , is that you forgot to add the low gravity to det-packs. It would be great if could fix that so that they fly longer simelar to the grenates.
Keep up the good work and this will become a very decend map-pack.

Boy, I sure hope I can. The problem began pretty early on in the map's development, so it will be difficult to pin down the element that's crashing the map. I plan on trying things like creating a new world, importing the terrain from the original LUN, testing, etc., starting from the ground up, slowly re-implementing every bit of the map and watching for crashing factors.

Yeah, that would probably be the best way. And the map is great !

Did you extract the contents of the .exe that you downloaded? You have to put the folder called "LUN" in your addon folder.

Yep, I put the the "LUN" folder in my addon folder. Same with the Venus Research facility. But they don't appear in the selection. Also what are the names of the maps in the selection. I must have skipped it...

Do you have the 1.1 patch installed? Luna should be called "Luna: Apollo 17" and Venus should be called "Venus".

Alright so I went to the lucasarts website and tried installing the 1.1 patch, and it said that my version of BF2 is already up to date. So that means I already have it? If that's the case, then what else should I do to get the venus and luna map to work? Any ideas?
EDIT
Alright so I tried downloading that and it says my version of BF2 is up to date. any ideas of how to get the maps to work?
