Heya

downloaded SW con, think it's great however i have 1 problem

ImageImage

any idea what's caused it, as have uninstalled and wiped 3 times and reinstalled patched to 1.1 then the convo pack and i get this everytime

:( i can play the lvls and use the content it's just that the names are missing

is it to do with unofficial patch 1.3 as i never had a name problem with version 1.9

I know it's slightly late for me to post this, but I just want to congragulate all who worked on this project. Two years since it was started, and I was there to see it from the beginning! I'm glad to see this beast of a mod finally done, and glad that everyone can move on with their lives! :)

Great job to the beastly modders who all did this! :)

Two more download links added to the first page, a ModDB mirror and a SWBFFiles mirror.

And for today at least, we're the number one mod on ModDB, and a featured mod as well. Go check it out!

side thought : if these can be ran on a dedicated server we should have a little contest on a map or two and winners get something cool from gt ;) thoughts :)

Dude, we should! Do we have server space anywhere?

Yes!! It's finally out! YAHOOO!! I downloaded the convo pack yesterday and it only took 20mins to download. And I have to say, it's quite something. I have been here since the first release of this pack, and I never thought it would amount to something as big as this! You guys really did out-due yourselves! You do deserve a well-deserved retirement, Tean. I was going to say good luck, but since the Jedi don't believe in "luck" I'll say May the Force be with, always!

Are you running Vista, fluffy?

No. it used to look like it. But I took the backups from the backup folder that was installed. I put them in lvl_pc, and now there's the shell... But almost everything new is unlocalized.

It's a temp fix, fluffy, but just ask someone to send you the v1.3patch_strings.lvl file (GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC) over Xfire. That will fix your localizations.

@lordbane2110: From the picture it doesn't look like you have v1.1 installed. Can you post a full screenshot so we can get a better look at your game. I want to look at more then just the version number in the full shot.

Nothing should be touching core.lvl.

@Thire: I'm not sure how you can say one day after the released is late...

@AlexSecura: Wow, really. I didn't expect my connection to handle it that well.

I was talking with Fluffy_the_ic and its turns out his problem is Windows XP Media Center. Media Center doesn't support the REG command the v1.3 installer uses to determine swbf'2 installation path. I will make another installer that installs the patch based off of where the convo pack extracts. I needed to edit the installer anyway as it seems the text doesn't wrap in the DOS window like I thought it would (I had my DOS window expanded during testing, whoops).

Do they crash now? That's weird that they would.
