Lighting not showing up [Solved]

Post by General_Nate »

Hello Gametoast! It's been too long.

Anyway, I've been trying to add omniscient (Woah, I spelled it right!) and spot lighting to my map. And in ZE it looks great! But ingame, it doesn't show up.

Am I missing something? A .req somewhere? Or a piece of LUA code? How do I get my changes ingame?

Thanks!

Well, I don´t know anything to this topic, but shouldn´t you post any files or that what you´ve already done, that anyone can help you?
No offense and I don´t want to be bold, I´m a beginner^^

Is it just not affecting the terrain, or is it not affecting objects as well?

Edit: There aren't any files you need to post for this issue. Setting up lights really doesn't involve anything besides ZE.

There aren't really any files to post... Unless you guys want pictures.

It's effecting both in ZE, but nether ingame.

You misspelled "omnipresent" (that's what "omni light" is short for - your light isn't "all-knowing").

Any light you use needs to be burned to the terrain to be visible there. Depending on the objects you have placed there, you may want to check (or uncheck) the "static" box. Make sure to read through the BF2_lighting doc.
