That does look really cool! The only thing I would point out is that the AT-TE hovers a little bit on take-off just before the LAAT's arms grab it. Certainly not a deal-breaker by any stretch of the imagination but solvable with some tweaking of the take-off animation.

That looks awesome! You *might* be able to write a scripted event that detects when the flyer drops the AT-TE and then changes the LAAT's geometry to a version without the AT-TE attached.

Ok, thanks for suggestions.

That would be cool! (Off topic) I'm thinking in something like "fire" anims (if the flyer class support it

), or "kill" the attached geometry once you drop (dispense) the AT-TE, but your idea sounds cool.

I've been working on the Black Pearl since yesterday and now it's finished. I just still have to add some details, like the windows, lanterns and other things.

Looks really nice! The texture suites the Pearl quite nicely. Looking forward to seeing it with the rest of the details included, too.

Oh, by the way, objects such as the poles, masts, and general cylinders and whatnot shouldn't use that wood plank texture. They should use a texture like this:

Thanks Marth, I will look what I can change on the textures. Since yesterday I found out how to color a whole image in gimp fron original to (example) black.

The third and final craft in this particular vehicle lineup - a big ol' transport. I need to tweak the specular a bit, it looks weird from some angles, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.
And yeah, I haven't added the turret geometries yet. Just has the nulls for testing purposes right now.

Hey GT, it's been a while. Anyway, I've been starting to get back into the modding scene, and I thought I'd show off the fruits of my recent labors: the TIE Mauler...
It still needs to be textured, but I like how it's turned out so far. Any comments are appreciated.
Oh, and the obligatory wireframe:

Looks good! Might I ask how his hair is going to be done?

His hair is linked from his head to his shoulders and his ribcage. I also made a Davy Jones Model with tentacles but at the moment I can't get them working in game. I made a thread about my issue. But I am pretty sure it's about my exported basepose.msh.

The texturing of my TIE Mauler is now complete, time to move on to animating the treads...

you welcome! may be fine if you can get it ingame as remote and then you can self destruct it with large explosion, like EATW TIE-mauler.
