Hello, I tried to give aayla Ki-adi's lightsaber and it crashed with these errors: Unable to find (some aayla animtation). Does anyone know how to get a different lightsaber wokring?

for aayla you can only use her animations or create new ones because of her hair worms.

Give her Ki Adi's saber, but make sure it references her own .combo file. And make sure her unit odf references her own anims, not Mundi's.

Do I reference that in the odf? I did look, but I coudn't find anything on combo.

Without to know much about this topic:
I gave aayla the lightsaber from obiwan and that worked...I´ll try it now with kyadi, too, but with obiwans saber everything worked.
If you have changed the combo lines in the odfs, you should know if it references.
If not, it should work without changing (or does it just work at my map? )

I think I have the combo line found, so i'll try t with Kiadi's first. If that doesn't work, i'll use Obi-wan's.

a unit with meeleweapon will ONLY work when the combofile (referenced in the weapons odf) matches the animationfile (referenced in the units odf)

if you get the "cant find anim xxx" error it means you are using the wrong combo/animation

Probably yes? It can´t work if it wouldn´t be the same? But how could it be the same combo if aayla have two sabers and obiwan just one?
And why have kiadi another combo?

They have completely different combos, since they fight completely differently. All jedi have their own combos (with the exception of Lazy Anakin, who steals Obiwan's).

I got it working, nut the tentacles droop down into her body.
