Vehicle Decaying.

Normally a vehicles health would decay when outside its control region but in mod maps my vehicles dont get destroyed. when the vehicle has low life the ai inside jumps out and leaves the vehicle, so another wont spawn, how do i make the vehicle decay!!

I think the decay time is set up in Zero when you set up your vehicle spawn. I can't recall. I know it wasn't that way in BF1, but maybe it's changed.

so do you know how to get it to work? my map eventually ends up being a vehicle wasteland :(

well, the vehicle spawn has options for decay time and decay rate, maybe it helps to edit that. I'm not sure since I can't even make a custom vehicle and so, I'm not a great modder with vehicles:)

well its not a custom vehicle, im using hailfire droids spider droids and laats, they all dont decay when left to rot?!?

It doesn't matter whether or not it's a custom vehicle! Just check your spawn points in zeroeditor and there should be stuff about decay.

i know it doesnt matter, dreadnought mentioned custom vehicles, and ive checked the spawn points and both there decay is set to 10

It's written in object instance Properties in zeroeditor and I think it actually determines how long until the vehicle begins to decay. DecayTime may actually be the rate at which a vehicle loses health.

*clears throat*

In the original SWBF, once the vehicle leaves the Control Region, it would start to lose health, which basiclly is the "decay" you are talking about.
