well i havnt done shadow volumes but i dont think any of the fighters even have any since they would only be seen in the hangar, but i think im only gonna make the rear cannon usable by people like how it was in SWG, speaking of galaxies i could probably work on maybe a gunboat or gunship like SWG had.

I will only allow you to do that if you first release all of your work that's done but you don't think is done. You know, the "WIP" models that are 15x better than half the finished products on the forum? Yeah.

i would have everything done if i could just get them textured, im not bad at texturing i just dont like my own textures and i get bored of it halfway through but i might get this one done really quick cause i want it done and im tired of waiting especially when i made the model, rig and animations within a couple of days.

i recently took the time to learn how to texture, tell me what you think. dont just post simple things, really pick at it and tell me everything you think should be changed so that i can make it the best it can be.

The dark lines on the wings are too dark
They look more like spray-paint then details
I think it's the contrast. light-grey with black/dark lines? what about making the 'surroundings' of the lines more dark so it'll have a 'soft transition'?

ive got a few comments:
texture is good very goood
but i think the ship should be wider
and the wings a bit shorter
also im missing the aft turret
for the rest good job

Maybe you can make a door and that you can go into the ship^^

cant make a landing ramp and interior for a fighter, it doesnt work. i know what you mean about the contrast, ill burn more around the panel lines or since the paneling is a seperate layer i can lighten them some. as for the aft turret, i didnt add it yet since i have no idea on how to make vehicle turrets, i gotta pick at other vehicle models and odfs. as for the proportions, its pretty correct, followed the movies more than other games and such, if you watch RotJ when the rebels are flying above endor youll see that the wings are pretty large.

Interesting thought: Couldn't you have the landing ramp down for when the ship is landed, have a small interior that just leads to the cockpit, and have the enter region inside the cockpit? That would be quite the achievement and interesting variety...

yeah but i dont feel like modeling the inside, since the collisions would be annoying. well i have literally a huge problem... the ship is too large to take off from the hangar, i dont want to scale it down though cause the scaling is perfect, just that the wings are tall when theyre folded. i guess im gonna have to test it out on a ground map, but the model isnt sitting on the hangar floor for some reason either so if i could get it right it might be able to take off.

Well I always was of the opinion that everything in battlefront space is a bit small... so let's scale EVERYTHING UP!

You could make the collision on the top 'wing' smaller. It wouldn't be realistic, but it would be able to stay the same size and take off from a hangar.

yeah i was about to temporarily exclude the building collision on the wings, that should make it work, i dont get why it wont sit on the ground though, never had this problem, it floats above the floor. O_o

you dont place vehicle models in the editor, you place spawners and from there they spawn the vehicle.
