Well, I wasn't trying to be rude, just saying it as-is.

On that note, I'm mostly referring to Bastila and a few other heroes. And the T3 units.

EDIT: I meant "ugly", but it came out different.

So your feedback went from unintentionally rude to unintentionally rude and borderline obscene.

Can we get back on topic? Your comment was unnecessary.

I do think the KotOR units are fine looking, save Bastila. Her head looks like it should be the lowrez version of the lowrez version of a model. IMO the rest of her model is fine, so why not use Faceworks for her head?

I never really liked Haruun Kal and Raxus Prime, they look nice, sure, but I get the feeling all I do in those maps is walk and die.

As for the modes, I think Fusion got it right, although I would prefer to have Hero Assault in Kashyyyk: Docks instead of Alderaan, I think it's a bit more interesting.

And yeah, Bastilla could use a new head, but since this is not exactly the focus of this update, I won't hold my breath.

Leave it as-is. It's not worth the community's effort to update it

More the first sentence than the second, and for your (Teancum's) sake. I'm sure the community would be up for testing it if and when an update is ready to come out. If the mission issue is really that big, releasing a new addme.script is not that hard, though I suppose none of it is hard per se, just a large administrative task.

The biggest thing that needs to be done is to keep any update compatible with what is currently out there (2.0, 2.2). Forgive my possible lack of accuracy, I haven't worked on SWBF2 in a while, but changing the custom legions (depending on how they're implemented), vehicles, and heroes will break this compatibility, will is not?
Teancum wrote:At this point I think it goes without saying that Haruun Kal, Raxus Prime, and Ratattak are getting cut should we update the pack.
On a separate note, if Ratattak goes, I think the bonus sides for CW Hero Assault (I think. You know what I mean, though.) should be transferred to another map.

Revan needs new animations. Especially the idle animation.

You could give the revised Conversion Pack a new name. That might stop a few misunderstandings.

It wouldn't matter -- each update is totally incompatible with the last anyways. So 2.0 and 2.2 users can't play together -- any future updates would fall in the same category.

Woah woah woah woah. 2.0 users can't play with 2.2's? I'm pretty sure I have before.

Depends on the map/era/mode. If nothing changed between 2.0/2.2 you wouldn't have a problem.

How about Convopak 3.0? :?

IF this is done,
Hidden/Spoiler:
I would also like to see new models for a few KotOR characters, I might even make one, if needed, but the single most annoying thing imo was Revan's combo. I don't like attacking, and then flying across half the map when there are still enemies back where I was. Enemies that can now shoot my back. If I want to get somewhere fast, I'll do a sprint jump or something.
Otherwise, It's still a good mod, I hated that some BF1 maps were not kept in SWBF2. Several of my favorites weren't included, until Convopak. :D

Cut out everything that's mentioned above, but release all the other stuff as a separate download (aka a "Bonus Pack")

I like that idea of an installer option for the config you want. Really, my vote is as such just for the sake of opening options. I'd probably still get the whole thing, but it's nice to have that option there in case I really want to lower the mission count without having to move the addon folder.

After a quick playthrough, here are a few things that could be fixed, if there's an update:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Bespin: Cloud City, Clone Wars, Classic Conquest - The regular Republic trooper's fpm is the same as the sniper. It should have plain white gauntlets.

Death Star, GCW, Holocron - I've noticed not necessarily a game breaking issue, but when you score with the Holocron, the buffs don't go away, which can make for an easy match with the award rifle. (I literally had to jump to my death by mistake, and still had 136 kills to 2 deaths.) The holocron carrier seems to like walls and corners, though I'm not certain of how much can be done there. They also like to walk into the giant pit where the bridge from the hangar to the superlaser used to be.
I also did a quick playthrough of Order 66 on Coruscant, and I had this funny thought about reinstating the VOs. For some reason I got this idea in my head to use Samuel L. Jackson quotes, though Mace canonically died beforehand. "You ARE NOT in control here!" As far as Order 66 goes, I like the concept, and would like to see it stay at least on a few maps, except for Mustafar. If it stays, I'd want the FleeLikeAHero thing to go, though. It just looks odd with kneeling Jedi and clones dying normally.

Really, to cut down on missions, I'd think about cutting the most mode/era laden maps down a little. I mean, really, who plays CTF on Geonosis: Spire? :P KotOR on the Death Star? If you have, as was mentioned, Hero CTF and Hero Assault on one map, it could be cut to just one of those. The same can go for 1 and 2 flag CTF. Unless there's a demand for those modes, I don't see a reason to keep them together. I don't know..I'm falling asleep at the moment, so maybe I'm just saying the same thing in another way.

I don't think it's a problem. The shield doesn't go back up if you don't have the Holocron. Although it might be a little too strong.
I personally enjoyed Holocron mode a lot and, would like to see it in more maps.

Logically, I'd think it best to have the benefits of the holocron removed entirely once you no longer possess it. In that playthough I was so bored (since nobody was a threat) that I started trying to snipe Rebels in the detention area hallway from the far side of the pit. It was only when I made the mistake of forgetting I wasn't in a CoD game, moving forward, throwing a grenade, and jumping in an effort to get the most distance from the throw, that I finally died by falling into said pit. Otherwise, I was virtually invincible and slaughtering the other team to the point that they could not score again, prevent my team from scoring, kill me, or even occupy me long enough to pull something off. It was pretty much a turkey shoot, even with enemy units spawning near me. The benefits are fine when the unit is actually holding the holocron. In fact, a bot can keep them. For a person like me, even though my aim was horrible, it still turned me into Brock Samson.

Yes. Please release the KotOR seperatley...I don't like it either, although I appreciate the effort it must have taken.

I guess I just restated what Commander said. O well. That's two votes

And this definitely won't be something that we add to anymore. If we do any changes at all it will be splitting things up into separate packs and fixing bugs. No new content.

I think one thing that should be done more extensively is online functionality testing. If you're sacrificing accuracy to save online functionality, then do it. I can always play BF1 by myself, but not all my friends have it and it's more of a hassle to play online. I found the stability of maps online hugely disappointing overall. For example, Geonosis: Spire crashed immediately for me once loading.

I don't have the time to thoroughly test and see what maps crash and what maps don't, but I know for a fact that a good deal of them do.

i wouldn't add other maps because this ones you can get seperat if you want. Most modsi downloaded because of the heros and sides, i deleted because there were more maps i don't like then ones i like.
