Conversion or mod

What distinguishes a side conversoin from a side mod?

I'm... not sure there is a difference at all.
A side mod is classified as a modification of the sides in any way. I'm assuming a sides conversion is just modifying the sides in such a way that they are similar or identical to those from somewhere else...?
Therefore, a side conversion is one specific type of side mod.

Actually a side mod is a side mod no matter what you call it.
vegati thought the Conversion Pack was a side mod (which it isn't) so he started to call his side mod (

That's essentially what I said though, isn't it? A side mod is the general, all-encompassing modification of a side, while a side conversion is merely one specific type of side mod, similar to mini-mods, skin mods, and vehicle mods, to name a few?
Ah well, I don't suppose it really matters what you call your mods in the long run, right?

Well yeah, but in a "side conversion" what exactly are you converting? The answer is nothing if you think about it.
