Star Wars Battlefront 2 Heroes/Villains No Show PC

When I first had Battlefront 2 on the XBOX when I played conquest or CTF I would get a chance to play as a hero or villain depending what side I was on and the AI team would be able to spawn their's as well but on the PC version only I get the opportunity to play as a hero the AI never spawns their's is their anyway to resolve this issue I searched around the web 
and could not find an answer any help would be nice because this takes away from the gaming experience slightly!
