Sorry, think I saw a topic on this once but can't find it.....
Anyway a few people playing the recently released Dark Space version 1 reportd that maps crashed if you had several in the IA list (later maps crashed - first one always worked). This happened to me too, and the higher the video settings (generally) the fewer maps you could play before the game crashed.
Anyone know what's happening here/how to get around it?

Re: Later maps crashing
Well, might seem obvious, but clear the error log of every error you can. Resource-hungry levels can cause issues, and the best way to be as safe as possible is to make sure there's a small BFront2.log for each map.

Re: Later maps crashing
Eh....well apart from 2 simple "missing explosion" errors and on a few maps a couple of "could not build object (object's name)" (very odd, since the object is always there anyway) errors, the only ones reguarly get is this:
Message Severity: 3
C:\Battlefront2\main\Battlefront2\Source\HUDManager.cpp(619)
HUD unable to find HUD element type 0x16ce484a.
And a few errors relating to jedi comboes (could be causing it, but that dsoesn't explain why turning graphics down makes crashes less frequent).
Also, I'm assuming this relates to what Tean saids about resources:
Message Severity: 3

HUD unable to find HUD element type 0x16ce484a.

Anyone know if there are ongoing memory pools that continues between ia matches? Because playing maps one at a time (ie play one, quit it when done, play another etc) fixes the problem.the higher the video settings (generally) the fewer maps you could play before the game crashed
