ok i want to add kas tall grass but when i add it to my map in ZE and run the game the tall grass is flat and i cant figure out how to get it 3/d

Flat and upright? if so, thats what it's meant to be.
Grass causes enough lag without being 3d.

for grass you need to use grasspatches. Not simply the textur

I think you have to use foliage in you're map. The foliage button you can find under edit mode in ZE.
For adding grass: Go to the world folder of a map with grass, then take out the ***.prp file and copy the file to you're map. Rename the ***.prp file to youre world folder name and open it. After that, search all the files you need in the prp file and copy from the world you choose to youre world. Go to ZE under the foliage button and you can fill you're world with grass
