I bought a Package of SWBF 1, 2, and RC.

And I am wondering if RC is worth the space?

Lets put it this way, RC is considered to be one of the greatest FPS of all time (by some). Feel safe in putting it on your PC, its not a waste of space.

I remember it being called the Star Wars Halo. How it played atleast, because when it came out Halo was all the rage.

Also I think it still has the best squad AI to date. Which is sad. Great that it's there, sad that it's been like 5-7 years and we still have dumb squad AI.

I'm going to get it tomorrow on Steam sale.

Republic Commando is, imo, the absolute best Star Wars game there is (without mods). So yes. Yes it is. Besides, you bought it with your money, why would you delete it anyway?

great game, awesome atmosphere! id say its a must-play for starwarsgamers.
i wouldnt say the squad-ai is the best though, since you have location for special maneuvers around every corner there isnt much of a choice both for your teammates and squadcommands. that said, everything else is awesome. especially the leveldesign, you reall feel like you are a special ops either in the midst of the battle or behind the enemy lines. the weapons are great too, same for the enemies. in my opinion it has really original enemy designs. oh and of course the characters are great too! they always got a cool one-liner for every situation.

I thought the SP campaign was pretty short, and I've never tried the multiplayer, but the game was still easily worth the $10 or so that I spent on it. It has a solid story and great gameplay.

I agree w/ all the above posts. Definitely worth the $10. It sucks that LA won't take the trouble to transfer it over so Mac users can play it too. Overall, its like one of the best Star Wars games of all time. You should not feel any regret with your purchase.

6.69 on steam. But yes well worth it.

I can't remember how robust the multiplayer is with friends, but it'd be cool to have a GT night or something with this increased attention to it.

I'd be up for that.

It's only about 2.5 Gigabytes anyways. If you had room for SWBF 1 and 2 then you should surely have enough room for it too.

Got it, played it a bit, and wow. I love this game. Why LA!?! Why haven't we gotten a sequel!?!

Because LA doesn't listen to what their fans want. If they did, they would have given us RC2 & SWBF3 long ago... but sadly that is not the way they do things.

Maybe I"m ok with this since their track record isn't the best right now.
