Content cut from BF1

I'm working on a list of things that got cut from Battlefront I and their reasons. I could use some help, even with the more obvious stuff.

So, here's the list I have so far:

UNITS:

-Bothan Spy
-Imperial Officer
-Clone Commander
-IG Tactical Droid

-Alternate coloured Jet Trooper (Blue in trailers, red on case)

MAP FEATURES:

-Kamino: Tipoca City had gameplay like Bespin: Platforms, but I guess this was in CW only.
-Naboo: Theed had a different layout. This could possibly be "Naboo: Prototype". This version can actually be seen in the video showing the level on the select screen.
-Geonosis had a different layout. I couldn't make it out, but it appears as though one could also play GCW there too.

VEHICLES:

-AT-XT, believed to have been cut but not actually meant to be in the game.
-AT-PT, cu for unknown reason, perhaps unfinished?
-LAAT/c, during the changing of the code from The Clone Wars, the code for this to work broke and was never fixed. It would have dropped AT-TEs off like in the Attack of the Clones movie. (Thanks to Teancum for clarifying that)
-Sentinel Shuttle, reasons unknown, only chunks were released with BF1 mod tools. (Balance issues?)
-MTT, reasons unknown, included with Mod Tools.
-Naboo Starfighter - reasons unknown, only chunks were released with BF1 Mod Tools.
-K-Wing, again, very little source files and no reason to be cut, perhaps unfinished. (Balance issues?)
-Flash Speeder, replaced by the Gian Speeder in the CW Campaign only.
-Alliance Hovernaut.

OTHER FEATURES:

-7 units playable. Psych0Fred had achieved this but it is unknown how exactly. It would require both a shell recompile and possibly a common.lvl recompile to make the seven unit options fit in the window.

I know there are others, so any ideas?

There's already a list of cut content somehwere in the SWBF1 forum..let me go find it

EDIT number one: Also, is there anywhere that the Naboo Prototype map is available?

Edit Number Two: Hmm..it appears that the topic with all the cut content listings has dissapeared, well, the topic is still there, but all the vital information on the first post was removed for reasons unknown..:S

geonosis was a lot bigger in the trailers, the
-Bothan Spy
-Imperial Officer
-Clone Commander
-IG Tactical Droid
could be the 6.th class which got cut.
theres a list of unused assets which are in the modtool in the Star Wars Battlefront Modding Tutorial. under Tips and Tricks

Just for clarification, where is the line of "cut" content, and content that was available but never implemented. Stuff like the AT-XT, Dwarf Spider, etc were available but from what I've been told were never actually going to be there.

I know what assets were released, that's not the point of the thread. It's to chronicle things cut from the game, whether they were released in the mod tools or not.

As to the units, I did say this:

@ Teancum I heard many rumours that the AT-XT was to be included. The Dwarf Spider also actually had textures and animations in the tools, but the model and ODF was absent. So I'm guessing they perhaps wanted to include them but left them out after finding no place to put them.

@ breakdown - Teancum told me there was source for BF1 for Naboo Protoype, but he no longer has it.

I was told directly that the AT-XT wasn't going to be in the game, and that the Dwarf Spider was never implemented due to time constraints. Psych0fred had to spend months getting it to work under SWBF1/2's animation system, so I doubt any work had been done, and that it was just leftover from the Clone Wars game's CIS side. Not trying to start a fight, just saying.

As far as having more than five classes, Pysch0fred was a developer, so that could have been a total side-project he did for fun. It may have always been five classes during development.

Regarding the Naboo: Proto source -- and it's a totally different map. It's not Plains nor is it Theed:

http://files.filefront.com/Naboo+Protot ... einfo.html

You'll have to back-convert it to SWBF1, but it's all there, and was running in SWBF1 prior to my converting it to SWBF2.

Some other stuff:
*Command posts were different colors. I've got screens somehwere, but the original CP was a different model and the friendly color was light blue
*The HUD was very different, as seen in the trailer below: (0:28)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2KCjFATtBw

*The ewok catapults were working at one time
*The Gian Speeder was in the game, at (0:53) of the trailer above
*One of the clones had blue markings (0:53)
*The Yavin temple had a lot more "blue Sky" (1:11)
*The ewok AT-ST trap (where it smashes the cab) worked (0:36) per the trailer below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a_R6uzN2AE

The old Convo Pack shell used to have a bunch of concept art and cut screens. Zerted rightfully pulled that when he took over the shell's development totally (the concept/screens were 50+mb)

my at-st ewok trap works. Idk why yours doesn't.
- the at-at was going to have side firing guns (see the theed preview movie)
- kamino was going to have ships (see the kamino preview movie)

I've never tried it, so I wouldn't know.

There's a class/unit-type called the clone commander (with ODFs for each team) which I always assumed was the missing class that failed to get implemented for SWBF1... maybe that's what fred was trying to put back in?

No offense taken, I heard rumours, obviously they were misinformed.

I thought Psych0Fred insisted he was not a developer for BF1.

Nobody ever cleared up how to do that, sadly. I did ask rebel_scum but he lost everything in the SWBF2-to-SWBF1 project a couple of years back and has since forgotten everything about modding.

@ hypershadow - I already mentioned that.

Did the developers know about Kashyyyk being in Episode III at the time of development? I heard rumours Docks was meant to be Kachirho, but again that could be badly misinformed.

There is a video of the SWBF1 Demo for PS2, you can see some cut stuff, which the video author has pointed out most of the stuff missing from the final game.

May I ask what would be the purpose of this list?

Information is power, or something like that. This is here because I hope to have misconceptions and facts sorted out, hence why I asked for help compiling this list. It's supposed to be, when finished, a definitive list of what got cut out and why. This section of the forum is for posting All things SWBF1 after all, not just about the mod tools.

In the 2 videos, I noticed that the soldiers had different 'death poses' as they were killed. One of them were actually cooler than a few in the finalized version of the game.

Two words "Time constraint". Some things were not perfect or finished.
