can the people at gametoast make it so people can download the tools from them because fileplanet keeps screwing up my download

Well, some of us might have trouble. I can't get it to run because of a missing binkw32.dll. I even downloaded the most recent version and copied it to the tools dir. Nothing.

The good news is that the Swampspeeder is in the assets. It's rep_hover_swampspeeder. Our first hidden asset.

I had 5 emails on this....

I dunno if that helps out. SWBF2 tools work fine for me and the only binkw32.dll file that could be found was in

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData so I'm not sure if came as part of the patch or tools or what. Incredibly unhelpful I know.. sorry, hope it gets sorted for you.

*ahem* Three things,
1) I'm not that stupid.
2) I have the DVD version.
3) I did insert the DVD into the DVD drive and nothing happened.

sweet, looks like i am the first one downloading it from filefront. Right now there are NO LINES. Thats right NO LINE. And for me its only 2 hours. So, go check it out, maybe it the lines will stay open. (and you don't have to register. filefront is sooooooooo much better than file planet)

k that thing that u guyz r talkin about is a sort of SPTest
and i know how 2 wrk it
all u have 2 do is put the BF2_modtools.exe thingy in ur gamedata folder and it wrks (i know cos i tried)
and the funny thing is if u look at the date on the top of this thing it says January 31 (mayb thats wen tools were supposed 2 be released)

lmao, i must of gotten lucky. i had 20 minutes wait-in-line and only 30 minutes to download. MOUAHAHAHAHA. all i can say is this MORE than makes up for the empty patch
